      Oh yah. I have two presses and neither are threadable. For myself, I can only see doing this on a threadable press if I had front and back hits that I wanted to protect. Like puff vinyl or transfers.

    I use supacolor transfers all the time. I use medium-heavy pressure at 320 for 15secs. I then have to allow the transfers to cool off, then the cover sheet will peel off with no issues. Then follow it with another 15sec press

    • @BigBrandoh

      I’ve always done hot peel, but lately my transfer sticks no matter what settings I press on. I finally discovered it only comes off clean if put pressure on the transfer with my hand and cold peel. Love how the transfers look when they come off clean, but they’re just inconsistent for me, and I’ve spent a lot of money with them. Currently looking for a new transfer source.

    I ordered from supacolor twice and twice I had issues with the peeling and I too ruined a few shirts. I used max pressure and even raised the heat way up and beyond to make the transfer adhere to the shirt. I was pressing up to 5-6 times with issues. After watching your video it makes me feel a little more confident to give it another try. I have the HPN Signature series 16x20 auto-open slideout draw. I think Supacolor does great transfers. Thank you once again for always sharing your knowledge. I hope this time around it'll work for me.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 года назад +1

      orders some samples and mess with those before placing the next order. try to nail down the technique with the samples. so when you get your order in, you'll be knockin them shits out. its mostly in the release and peel. not too fast and aggressive but also not too slow and gentle. i favor pulling close to the bottom platen instead of pulling and peeling up. grab the corner and peel low and quick

    Temperature does matter depending on what you are printing on right? Or can you use the same temperature for both hoodies and t shirts?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  2 года назад

      good question. temp can stay the same as long as the material in shirt and hoodie is the same. example. shirt is 100% cotton, hoodie is 100% cotton. temp can stay the same, just adjust the pressure. but if material is not the same you would have to make minor adjustments to the temp. if hoodie is blended with cotton and polyester i would go down in temp a little at a time till you get the results you want.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  2 года назад +2

      drifit is different. anything with polyester in it will need to be adjusted for that material. polyester reacts differently than cotton under heat. also anything with spandex, lycra or elastic in it too. i suggest testing out different settings on the shirts you wanna use to make sure you get the best application possible

  • @gentlegnt
    @gentlegnt 3 года назад +1

    I have a question for you and you do not have to answer, fully understood, but HPN has had delay after delay on the high end signature series. I am under the belief that these are made overseas somewhere and that is the cause for slowdown. Would you know? I am trying....so trying not to look at more available other models, especially for doing strong AND even sublimation prints, because HPN is really behind the game. Also, would be willing to do a video/demo from beginning to end on sublimation with your heat press? You had said that you can sublimate with it, but I was under the impression that a swing away press with straight down even pressure was THE type to get. You disagree and said that you can do it on your Signature Series model. Please, please do a full walk through for us. Thanks so much for answering and time if you are willing to do a demo. Peace!

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  3 года назад +1

      sublimation is just like pressing transfers. i dont sublimate on shirts. only difference is sublimation takes 400+ degrees for a minute or two. technique is the same, adjust pressure and press. thats all. but swing away and clam shell presses to the same thing. its both getting heat and pressure applied. as for where the heat presses are made, i have no idea.

    • @gentlegnt
      @gentlegnt 3 года назад

      Thanks, brotha for the reply about the presses and sublimation are the same process= heat and firm pressure!! I guess we will see about HPN supply. not sure who you keep hearing that from. but i would suggest testing it out yourself and then compare it to whatever you currently use and make the decision yourself. thats what i did on my channel. compare it to other transfers, to traditional screen printing etc... i dont go based off of somebody elses experiences i go based off of my own. get me? if i were you i would test out everything and figure out what works best for you

      I have the same issues on multiple different Supacolor Transfers. If I pull the backing off fast, the edges of the design fold or crinkle. Its frustrating

      @@bkmcg7340 after watching this video, I noticed I was peeling to slow and that’s what it was getting stuck. What I did on my craft pro heat press , I use 340 for 15 seconds and immediately peel
      Off like big Brandoh shows here ☝🏻peel in one Quico smooth motion and it finally worked for me . Hope that helps

      Thx for the tip Big Brandoh, on the one smooth motion technique, my problem was I was going to slow on the peel off and thx to this video I was able to find the right temperature for my heat press using this technique and I’m good to go now ... Even though I took a lost on 4 shirts and designs, I am just relieved It finally worked for me 🙌🏻trial and error, no giving up ..

    Here to tell the truth. This stuff feels and looks cheap

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  2 года назад

      who's truth? your truth? you gotta remember what you feel is cheap might not be what someone else thinks is cheap. do you feel you are the standard when it comes to how something should look or feel? But lets discuss, what do you consider high quality multi color print? lets say 10 color print with gradients. what is your preferred print method? if you wanna help the people, lets help the people
