Loved the info. Concise and entertaining-her smile is great. Good coming from someone who has experience in this and not just reading a teleprompter!! I will be a customer this week.
Are there any restrictions on what design we can submit ....ex. If I want a personal tshirt for myself not to sell Can I send an image of say a rock band or famous person image and have prints sent to me ?
Read and think before ordering. Supacolor is very good in delivering your artwork within a few days but when it comes to a return, re-making or exchange policy, your artwork is not a priority anymore as they push the remaking of your artwork as far as they can, leaving you waiting for weeks. I emailed the representative that worked with me after I requested a remake and he pushed my artwork two weeks, but he never contacted me back!
Good question, no it wouldn't. dye bleeding may happen with dyed polyester garments. For those you would use a sub blocker transfer. Wearables would be great for any color cotton garment.
I’m new to t shirt printing. What makes the difference in vibrancy with Supacolor as opposed to regular Transfer paper? Is it a special kind of paper they’re using?
Good question. Supacolor uses a unique combination of printed transfers and screen print transfers. These will be a much higher quality than transfer paper in both the vibrancy of the print and the longevity of the transfer.
Supacolor has a good natural stretch to it, so the wearables transfer will be great for most stretchy fabrics. If your garment is dyed polyester, then the sub blocker transfers would be the way to go.
Are there different transfers for light colored vs dark colored fabrics or are they interchangeable? For instance, if I'm printing on white shirts and black shirts, do I have to order separate transfers or is a single order okay for all the shirts?
Great question. You can use the same supacolor transfer for a light and a dark garment. All supacolor transfers are opaque so they will look the same no matter what color garment they are on.
Do you think the rhinestone custom transfers would look nice over a color transfer of the same design? What type of transfer would you recommend for slides/flip flops? Thank you in advance..
For shoes and flip flops, we recommend Supacolor Promotional transfers. www.heattransferwarehouse.com/supacolor-promotional-screen-print-transfers/ For rhinestones, we recommend that the rhinestones be pressed directly to the garment to get the best adhesion. You could still use rhinestones and a color transfer together if they don't layer on top of each other. Dye sublimation is another method that would work well to mix a color transfer with rhinestones.
Supacolor is a unique process that is similar to a combination of screenprint / digital print and cut! It lasts over 70+ washes with no cracking, fading, or peeling.
No the promotional transfers can't be washed. I would make sure your customers know this. A wearable transfer could also be an option for a fabric bag that you know will end up being washed.
Please email sales@heattransferwarehouse.com they can assist or chat in during business hours. We need to know time and temp and pressure you are using and you will need to peel them Supafast.
if the sheet size is 11x16 or so, can i fill that myself, say for my shirt, the rear logo is 11x10 and the front logo is 11x5, that would all fit on a single sheet. Thanks
If I have multiple designs that I want printed, do I have to do a separate order/transaction for each one or can I request them all at the same time? Would I be able to attach more than one image and clarify in the details of the order that I need a certain number of each design?
If you have multiple designs, fill out the order page for one design, then add it to your cart. Then you can repeat that for all your designs. Then you can place the order for all of the designs at once.
I noticed adhesive "glue line" on all of the transfers I ordered. It actually gives my transfers a worn out peel look to them. I was told that this was standard but I was not able to verify it. Any insight?
This is a standard feature of our transfers, that gives them there long lasting durablity /washability. This line is more visible on dark and mid tone garments. One tip we have is to give a quick repress after you peel the liner that can help with the glue line looking like a rough edge.
its a combination of digital printing and screen printing transfers. This is very different from dye sublimation. Supacolor has an opaque backing so it can go on any color of garment.

So this is not like sublimation where you can really only use white poly to have best result. I can use this on 100 cotton any color? Black blue red purple etc
Yes, Supacolor can be used with any color garment and 100% cotton. It is more like a screen print or printed HTV transfer that is on top of the garment.
HTV - from my own experience, leaves a much thicker feeling to the design on the garment & typically needs to be weeded (depending on design) Supacolor is iron on ready full color transfer with a very natural feel on the garment & can be placed on any color tee w the same result since it has a coated white backing It’s an amazing process - easy to print & coat the backing with the white powder & I highly recommend it. But, it’s very expensive to buy the units so buying transfers from a company is the next best option
Heat transfer refers to a design that is printed onto printable heat transfer vinyl with a wide format printer. Screen print is made by pushing different layers of ink through a screen to make a transfer. Supacolor is a hybrid of these two processes.
