At my house we just use food-grade diatomaceous earth, a huge bag costs like $5 and you can reuse it. It kills their trail in hours as long as you know where the source is.
I made my own with clear plastic containers and Borax (20 Mule Train) and sugar and water drill a bunch of entry and exit holes in it. The ants carry it back to the nest and feed the others. Its much safer around kids, pets, and food prep areas, after a day the ants get slower and slower around the nest and are quickly gone ! These work outside on a ants nest too! Hope that helps some folks.
My brother had an ant infestation in his kitchen. What I did was wipe down everywhere I saw them. Then I went over the area with peppermint oil. Then I took a piece of paper towel and saturated it with the oil and set it on the entry point. The next day I saw less and repeated the process. By the third day I didn't see any. Also his kitchen smelled great. Peppermint spray also works on flying termites.
The TERRO liquid ant bait works fantastically. Within 2 days usually, 100% of ants are gone once they eat the liquid poison and take it back to their home base. It's worked every single time; never fails!
@@erickmejia6398 The hardest part is if it's inside your home, you have to let the ants come and go and eat the poison. So I've had a few instances where there were literally hundreds of ants swarming the liquid bait. Sometimes it took longer than 2 days. Just leave it alone, even if it looks like they're dead all hanging around the TERRO bait. Patience will pay off!
the problem with me is I don't notice a trail...I just see a couple of random ants (very tiny) crawling in the bathtub/shower... and I'm a clean freak...I scrubbed the entire bathroom with Lemon/Eucalyptus essential oil...alcohol/peroxide/dawn because I know they hate that smell
Walked into the kitchen at 2am one morning, couple hundred ants on the kitchen counter, don't believe in using pesticides in the kitchen, grabbed a roll of masking tape from a kitchen counter drawer and caught them all up. Kept doing this whenever i noticed them and the kitchen was eventually ant free. Still use masking tape when I find them indoors.
I used some of their spider spray on a big spider. I soaked the spider and I think all It did, was upset it. I finally jump on it, smashing it with my boot.
Glenn, thank you for the video. I live in Ohio and just bought my first home. Just tonight, I noticed several, what appear to be, carpenter ants all over my kitchen floor. I opened up the door to my back yard and there are hundreds of them crawling around the porch step and in the mulch just off to the left of the step. I watched this video and I'm curious to know if you have any tips or products that I can buy online to help resolve this issue. Thanks in advance!
I'm lucky, I haven't seen any ants in my home in a very long time, and even then it was only a couple here and there. We once left a pizza box with some crusts on the back porch and that attracted quite a few, but didn't see any more once we got rid of it. I wouldn't want to have hundreds or thousands of ants in my home, but in general ants don't freak me out. Unlike the time I woke up to find hundreds of flies on the inside of my kitchen and living room windows. I have no idea where they came from. Luckily they didn't come back after I sprayed them all with Raid flying insect spray.
Borax -20 mule team laundry powder and sugar 50 /50 mix and add water to make a syrup. Put on a plastic lid or a clear container and drill entry exit holes in it. The ants eat it up and take it back to the nest. In a couple days or so they are all dead.

@@ew6629 thank you.
If it's worked every single time then it hasn't worked 100%. You're saying "every single time" which implies more than once.

Now I need somebody like you and your company up where I live north of Chattanooga, any recommendations
Ive been spraying them with mean green cleaner in my bathroom because they’re on my floor- definitely gonna stop 🛑
Use bait to kill the colony...The terro stuff works really good..You just creating new colonies by killing them with spray...
I have tried bait they keep coming I've used so much bait seems as all I'm doing is feeding them and they never stop coming
Same here. I’ve tried it all. Pay Orkin for almost a year and my bathroom is just constantly got ants! I’m losing my mind! A blowtorch is next 😂

What is the Best Ant Bait to use.
I have about 8 TERRO baits in my small house and still have ants
You probably have multiple colonies...The stuff works...I just put it out and after 48 hours all dead
