I dont dislike ants I dislike their queen commanding them to visit my house
But if u leave food out they go there, Queen probably just tells them to find food sources.
That's because you have food crumbs, sweet food,or any other on your house that may attract the ants. Most likely because they are searching for food recourses.
They come in from the outdoors. From the ground. They trod all their lives. It's what they do. As long as we are here, they are here. Boric acid in any amount kills insects.

Thanks Slater, this recipe works very well. I started using it last year and was able to eliminate the ant infestation. We set out traps at different areas of our house wherever we could see they were coming in from. It took a few months but it was well worth it! Just be sure to change out the mixture every few days to a week, it can get filled up with the dead ants that ended up drowning in the mixture.
The sooner you start the better! I just started noticing a few ants around our sink area so I will be making up our jar today!

I think it would be easier and more effective to wet a small piece of bread with this mixture and use it for the ants to carry them to their nests.

You wouldn’t leave the bread out like that. It would need to be in a plastic container with a lid you’ve poked a few holes in to allow the ants to get in and out. Also wouldn’t be leaving it anywhere that a dog or cat would be able to get to.

This is very life saving life hack! It's been a life long problem in house that the ant's are almost everywhere because my father love to breed birds and their thing attracts colony of ants. You got my subs and notification bell sir! 👍🏻

I used this method. The ants were really tiny and the colony must have been very big because there were a lot of ants all over the kitchen. It took over a week before no ants returned. I used pill bottles but found that the soft bottles didn't work because the ants were unable to climb them. The hard plastic bottles worked fine.
They were probably what we call piss ants, they are the bane of my existence and I want them to perish
you can use masking tape to give them some grip to climb

PRO-TIP. The steam from the boiling water will create pressure within the sugar container. Chose your container wisely
Better to dissolve the sugar and borax in a pan with boiling water. Then just transfer to a bottle after it has cooled.

Boric acid (borax but more potent) will ill termites also.

We had roaches running across our desks at work, I played around with baking soda which I sprinkled everywhere, floor, etc. which did nothing. Finally there was a large one running across my desk (not very fast). I grabbed the box and dumped maybe 2-3 tbsp worth on him. He left, came back little while later (easy to recognize bc he was all white), I let him take back to nest, and we had no more roaches at all. No dead ones lying around to clean up. About 10 years later I brought in a hot roasted turkey, set it on my desk and a large roach was right there. I did the same technique, and never saw another roach for the remaining 7 years bef. retirement. I wish I knew this when I lived in that roach-filled high rise where they were constantly spraying and the roaches just got bigger.

I did exactly what was on the video. Placed about 6 in the backyard where I saw ants last year. Checked a week later. The containers that I placed on the garden soil and two on the mulch around bushes and trees had maybe 100 baby ants inside. I couldn’t believe it. Finally something works great. This week I will put out double the containers. Thank you for the video.

Thanks for the tip, IT WORKS! It worked really well with black ants. They really just go in as soon as I place them any where there is the line of black ants. Most of the time they go right in and often die inside the bottle. The smaller black ants on the other often die outside the bottle. Every morning I see them scattered on the floor dead already.
It seems to work with red ants too, but takes quite a bit of time for it to work. When I placed them in yard near their ant hill, red ants often coat the hole with sediment that connects to their hill. When the sediment is in place already, the march of the red ants to the bottle start. This takes more than a week and a half. If this happens, I often see them dead inside. A lot of them. But takes time. If I place this inside the house near that red ant line, I only see a few of them getting inside and also only very few see floating dead inside. Haba na nito. Haha.
For red ants you want to use protein instead of sugar as bait. So like shredded chicken marinated in borax lol

I have A Question and I NEED TO KNOW:

WHY- are there Ants inside the House?
And HOW- do they manifest?
It's probably because there was no proper pest control chemical / solution that was done during the construction of the house. This is the most overlooked procedure when building a house. Or maybe the pest control solution that was done already expired (it has a life span / expiration of approximately 1 to 2 years depending on the type). Food particles and leftovers are the most common reason why ants manifest inside the house. If they are in your comfort room, maybe that's one sign that you are diabetic if they are attracted to your urine.
This video prompted me to buy a kilo of borax that also came with a similar recipe. Thanks!

For those who are going to try this, make sure to use a glass container like his that could withstand high temperatures. Because if not, there's a huge probability that the glass would explode once you shake it.
What do you mean? the glass will still explode if you use a glass container???
@@Moemoepot there are certain glass containers that could withstand a very high heat temperature.
Simply boil the water, borax and sugar mix instead.

I tried this at home. But our ants are quit clever. They cover the solution with dirt and sand!! (saw it the next day) So no ants can drink from it!

Suggest to label bottles, just to know what they are and to avoid inadvertent ingestion or exposure to possibly toxic substances. I know you said that it's not really toxic since the amount of borax is so little, but I think it's good practice to label everything. Keep out of reach from children! 😊
