* India was divided in 1947 to accede to the demand of Muslims of homeland (on the principle - they cannot exist with other religions and need 'land of the pure' - no other religion) and two Muslim countries were born - Pakistan and Bangladesh. Hindus thought they will have peace after giving 30% of the land to muslims who were only 16% at that time. The matter should have been SETTLED FOREVER. Muslims had a better deal in partition. Many Muslims stayed back. 3 million people died in the displacement of population, which majority of them were Hindus & Sikhs.
* There are 57 muslim countries, most follow Islamic laws, there is 1 country for Jews, there are 117 countries that lean Christian. Hindus have NONE. Why???? Are Hindus INFERIOR to other religions????
* Those invaders destroyed places of worship of other religions and continue to do so even today. Examples are Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria etc. Why can't Hindus reclaim their temples that were destroyed by barbaric invaders when partition took place in 1947??? It is quite confusing to many of us.

In Bangladesh, Hindu population is declining as their temples are vandalized, and they are forced to convert. Lebanon in last 30 years; a Christian majority country converted to an Islamic state. Hindus have lost majority in Kerala, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Kashmir and soon in Bengal. Andhra Pradesh and Punjab are being converted fast.
* 'Peace' is not a commodity which you can buy in a supermarket. You have to learn from history and need to defend your borders, your home, your family, your political interests (not just economic which most Indians are) and tackle your enemies who are out to destroy you or criminals who will defraud you or take away your assets or family members.
* Read the teachings of Bhagvad Gita. Pandava princes had to fight themselves for their preservation and achieve 'peace'. All your Gods and Goddesses carry weapons. Why? to defend themselves and protect others and establish 'peace'. God helps those who help themselves. While you meditate and do-nothing seeking 'peace', others will take away your property and women. What happened in Kashmir?

It is democratic nonetheless. Constitution is subject to change depending on public opinion. We dont live in a document based dictatorship. India was not born on 1947 and is not limited by a book written in a hall by less than 1000 so called representatives.

Time to revoke the unjust Places of Worship act passed 44 year after independence for no purpose other than to get Muslim votes.
Let's start at the beginning; it is a title suit. One party, whose property rights were wrongly stolen, is seeking redressal. You can spin it whichever way you want, but it is all about making right of a historical wrong. Isn't our affirmative action, aka reservation policy, based on the same principle? Many "experts" also vouched for the perpetuity of Article 370, but it got "bulldozed". Even INC does not have the guts to declare its re-implementation. Similarly, the Places of Worship Act can also be repealed by the parliament.
Time to reclaim every temple destroyed by the Mughuls and rebuild them.
Has the repeal of Article 370 brought peace? If not, then what was the point of this repeal?
Will we return all the Buddhist Viharas we destroyed and build Temples at their site?

Recent events i vl tell, in tamilnadu ,Telangana alampur etc buddhist idols discovered inside temple where the shape of buddha was changed made into look like a hindu god.
Hindus will not leave Kashi and Mathura. I think the best solution for the issue lies in Raamjanmabhumi judgement. They gave 2.47 acres to Hindus and allotted 5 acres to Muslims elsewhere. The same can be followed rather than politicising the issue.

At one point it felt as if Shekhar Gupta was justifying the rational behind Aurangzeb demolishing the temple. Also, if the ASI survey proves that a temple always existed then wouldn't it prove that it was a temple in 1947 as well and 1991 places of worship act would work in favor of Hindus

If we go by your logic most of India's biggest Hindu Temples are either built by eiether demolishing Buddhist Temples or converting Buddhist places into Hindu Temples. Remains of a Bouddh Vihar have been found under the Somnath Temple by IIT Ahmedabad just recently. Same about Mahakaleshwar temple, Tirupati temple and all other big temples. Why aren't you demanding to demolish them & build Buddhist Temples instead????

Among all the historians around the world, he is unarguably the ultimate authority in this subject. Not needed. Aurangzeb's courtiers and Aurangzeb himself have captured all the details of his rule and the destruction he did to temples and hindus. They captured it proudly. An example is Fatawah Alamgiri. Those memoirs are in Persian or Arabic and in libraries. All that is needed is a hindi translation to reach the masses of India to show the true face of the Islamic rule of India
Fact is a mosque was built on top of a sacred Hindu temple. Aurangzeb or anyone else doesn’t matter. It’s one of the most sacred spots. There are few locations that needs to be restored. So Mathura Kashi are those sacred locations.

Aurangzeb was irritated with Raja Man Singh so he ordered demolition of Gyanvapi Mandir. OK. But he was also irritated with Dara Shikoh, why he did not order demolition of Shahi Masjid built by Dara in Srinagar, if we go with the same logic. Certainly there was more to demolition of temples, other than simple political reasons as suggested by leftists.

1991 act is unfair and against justice as it asks people to forget everything that happened before 1947 and simply accept whatever existed as of 1947. now, image, if someone going to court, hear judge say, oh, this happened 30 years ago, just forget whatever happened 30 years ago. Does it work ? This is simply a case of what structure existed before the present structure was constructed and how land to build present structure was acquired. Archeological survey can reveal what structure existed before present structure and there is document to indicate how the land was acquired to build present structure. These can not be simply erased with 1947 law and in fact, it's totally contrary to any form of justice to deny justice to those who have been historically wronged, if archeological survey proves it. Why are so many people afraid of archeological survey, if they have nothing to hide and present structure was built on vacant land ? why do not they just allow survey and prove what they say is truth once for all and settle this issue too for ever ?
"SG says: Supreme court acknowledge the injustice happened in the past". Now, what is the use in acknowledging the injustice without providing a proper justice now. The country doesn't need philosophical advices from Supreme court or any establishment (because such advices are given to victims to keep their mouth shut), we need justice to be established, injustices to be reversed. 1991 places of worship act was just a tactical escape plan for the govt at that time. The NaMo govt should repeal that act now.

Some of the best surviving Hindu temples are in the South and people there seem to consider those temples their own and are proud. I think Tamil separatism has more to do with anticipated Hindi encroachment than actual one.
That act itself is unconstitutional. It was done to appease Muslims when there were cases and issues at the 3 sites at least. Also a janmabhoomi will always remain a janmabhoomi. It cannot change due to construction of a mosque above the site. A temple I just to facilitate praying, rituals and offer respects to the God at that site. So none of these are modifying the nature of the site even if we follow it. Those mosques can be rebuilt as they pose no religious significance connected to the site. For Hindus it is important. If there is a non-Islamic building at a significant site for Islam in India, we can remove that and allow mosque to be built.

Every mosque in India can be demolished because a mosque is simply a prayer hall, even by Islam’s own admission. But a temple is a holy site for Hindus and it is essential all these religious sites get reclaimed and given back to its devotees.

The very word Gyan-Vyapi is Sanskrit in Origin- Gyan= Knowledge Vyapi- Spread.
The issue arises on the application of P.O.W Act ; well I think parliament should amend it saying "Every monument that stands as in 1947 should remain so; provided material destruction of the same has evidential proof in the era of construction (timeline)and No proofs after 1947 can be admitted + add a subclause ensuring act with an intent of destruction post 1947 and link it to Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita" though AMASR act protects I think it is limited to national sites; eg for Harappa you need Carbon Dating of same.
This does not give a free-pass to any mischief mongers and can have a peaceful end.
If you read Mughal History the peak of art ranged during Humayun Akbar Jahangir Shahjahan Dara-sikoh ; Babur was concerned with invading and Aurangzeb was busy saving his empire against Marathas. You donot expect these 2 to be constructive .

The places of Worship Act is itself highly discriminatory against Hindus who are the victims. It has foreclosed judicial remedy for the historical injustices happened. It is in line with Congress party's appeasement policy from before and after Independence. It is already challenged in Supreme Court. It is high time it is scrapped by the Govt of the day by annulment via an act of Parliament.

Courts could not and did not solve the Ram Janmabhoomi temple destruction issue for 75 years. Only one CJI had the courage to face the issue squarely and work hard for almost one year to operate on this infected wound and completely heal it. He and his colleagues will be remembered in the history books for thousands of years. Judges will have to take initiative to solve these two issues also.
In 2022, the division bench of Supreme Court of India led by Chief Justice of India D.Y Chandrachud accepted a petition challenging the constitutional validity of the Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act, 1991.
Natural law requires that this parliamentary act must be-- and therefore will be--- found unconstitutional. Although I have my doubts about the Indian judiciary and its crop of milords, and their readiness, willingness, and ability to undermine justice and their own moral authority.
