If you felt that Dr jaishankar was hesitant that is bcoz he is not profoundly comfortable in hindi. In English he had been asked toughfer questions which he replied in the same spirit!
Ye do takke ke journalist who has no achievements in their life is trying to be over smart in front of a man who manages Russia and America both at the same time while dealing with Europe and other tons of global issues.
Journalism is just not to humiliate someone, if he has guts why can't he interview Gandhi's and Minister's of Bengal, TN and ask the Blunt questions about Anti National Sentiments

To me Dr. Jay Shankar is most talented Diplomat, rather a Chankya of present time. I equally value our Previous Foreign Minister, Sushma Ji. But she had more human element, very kind hearted, But Jay Shankar is suitable for this Portfolio. Last year Dr. Jay Shankar was in my city Vienna, there he made silent Anchor Armin Wolf, who is known to question very cleverly. My Salute to this great son of India. @@nikhil0029 jaishankar was able to recall so much information which happened so many years ago with dates and accuracy. It should be appreciated. Otherwise he can make jalebi out of this questions and answer them without revealing anything like other diplomats do. And if one statement of jaishankar he mistakenly gets his fact wrong. There will be thousands of clip on social media criticizing him.
As you can even see in the promo of this podcast how cleverly it is cut and edited to make it look like jaishankar is stammering at each question of Sourabh while reality is quite different.
And also some journalists also tends to memorize what questions should they need to ask.

I have started seeing interviews of The Lallantop recently and till date I have watched around 10-12 of them, in my opinion, this was the best interview till now. A close second for me is the conversation with Lt. Gen KJS Dhillon!
Everyone knows the ability of Dr. Jaishankar in giving responses and answers, but for this interview specifically, I would really like to appreciate Saurabh ji and his team that did the research and prepared the questions and even the ordering of questions, it was impeccable. Really very good!

It was a very capitavating interview indeed, was glued to it for full 3 hrs and watched it at one go. Undoubtedly the best thing that could happen to India in the context of global geopolitics, Mr Jayashankar as its external affairs minister.
With every episode I watch, I am more amazed by the depth of knowledge Saurabh has of history and indian politics. This is what I expect from journalists and it indeed sets a high bar.
