- I am so excited to be sharing this video with you today! I have finally gotten around to making products with Sea Moss and I am OBSESSED! Sea moss is full of minerals that your body needs making it great for your diet and your skin. It also contains a ton of collagen which is great for skin elasticity and plumpness! This was such a fun process and I hope you learn something from this video. TIP: don’t toss out the sea moss water. Use it to water plants, add to bath water. Do not wash with tap water!!! Wash in spring water, soak in spring, distilled or alkaline water 🥰

Thanks so much for sharing Cory. I wanted to ask what your water/seamosss as percent of oil weight was. I recently attempted my own recipe, but when I added my essential oils mix (half of my mix was unfortunately oils which are known to accelerate trace) my batter thickened up so quickly and then by adding seamoss, even more so!
Thanks for sharing I wanted to know when you pour the soap into the mold in it sets for 24 hrs.. is it sitting out or in the refrigerator or freezer. I may have missed that step.

Lye is inorganic . I have never heard of non vegan lye

Is it ok to ask what are the dimensions of your bars and the weight after cure? I'm looking to get a bigger mold and I'm having a liking to the one you're using.
Yes! They are 3” long by 2 3/4” tall and 1” thick. They are around 5 oz when cured ☺️
So Creamy love this. Does snyone know if Seamoss go bad. I bought some last year never opened or used it. It's the Purple Seamoss
If it is still dry you have major shelf life the once rehydrated only a month. I have been using it since 2012. Keep it dry.

I know you made this video 2 years ago, but I just heard about sea moss soap and your video is the best I have seen. 😊 I was wondering how your soap held up over time? Did you end up having any problems? I have a couple of customers asking me to make sea moss soap and I want to do the best job that I can. Do you have any tips or tricks for a first time sea mosser?
Thank you so much! This has become a regular soap that I carry in my line and is very popular. They last forever. I have found that discounting the water by the amount of sea moss gel you add makes it easier to unmold and you get less "air bubbles" This soap has an excellent later as well.

Hi there, no I have never experienced this issue. Discoloration is a common problem with certain fragrances or essential oil.

I'd like to know how is this a soap that will clean your skin? When it's mostly oils.. oils don't clean the skin they moisturize your skin.. so if anything this seems to be a skin oil bar... not a soap... please help me understand?

The rubbing alcohol will evaporate. It helps with the soda ash.

Actually it’s four weeks. Yes you shouldn’t sell them until they cure completely
U must allow cold process soap to cure completely which is 4 weeks I allow my curing time to run to 6 weeks the longer the better

You need to cut the sea moss into smaller pieces so it doesn’t jam the blender. The long pieces can do that.
Real sea moss don’t have salt on it...
That’s pool grown sea moss. Real sea moss does not have salt😉
