I will always find it hilarious that Prince Fielder had 2 inside the park home runs in his career
I watched his dad Cecil play with the Tigers, and it's funny they ended up with the same number of career homers.
I'm always impressed that he really went for it. He's a big guy and he's usually not very fast but you can see how hard he's trying to get there.
Bring back the home and away jersey's from your team at the ASG, it worked well.
Cuz .... MLB can make money off the jerseys.
its so beautiful
I'm fine with the all star jerseys if they're actually nice but yea wearing your teams jersey was so cool
I would love for them to go back to the home and aways for the All Star Game; looks classier. I’ve always been down for the AL/NL team BP/Homerun Derby jerseys (especially the 1999 ones from Fenway) but for the game, keep it traditional!
The “wear your team’s jersey” look was so dope. It’s cool they got to show what team they were representing
I'll never get tired of rewatching that Tapia inside-the-park grand slam. What a great game that was, ended something like 28-3 for the Jays, too. 😆
Damn the Sox sucked that year lol
Naquin’s celebrstion genuinely looked so dope lol
I think an inside the park home run to win the ball game in extra innings is really awesome rare and memorable.
I hope mr prince jr is doing great i really really miss him in mlb
Watching Ichiro run is just great, he runs so well and technical
On that Tapia play - Duran should have been pulled from that game IMMEDIATELY. He made zero effort to get that ball. Tapia, didn't even take off right away.
Those Reds jerseys from the early to mid 2000s were my fav. I know a few team had the sleeveless style jerseys for a bit but there was just something about the Reds’, especially the white with black pinstripes and the red or black undershirt; those were lit!
Bonifacio’s was the only one I had not seen before. Not disappointed in the slightest.
I witnessed JT’s insider. Crowd was wild!
escobar leading off world series game 1 with a first pitch inside the park homer really set the tone for that series. cant believe harvey thought he could get away with a first pitch fastball on the heart of the plate
Bro said "high off the wall" when it was low off the wall, then said Tulowitzki when it was LeMahieu
I suppose it doesn't matter much in this context lol. "The rockies GG infielder with a great arm makes the relay throw..." like thats just all of them lol
There are moments in baseball that you just can't explain, even when you watch it. Such as Bartolo Colon hitting a homer, Pablo Sandoval or Bengie Molina hitting for the cycle, or Prince Fielder having an inside-the-parker.
Of the 154,483 home runs hit between 1951 and 2000, only 975 (0.63%; about one per 158) were inside-the-park. Out of those 975 inside the park home runs, only 9 have been walk offs, 0.009 or 0.9%.
I'd take a wild guess that exactly 1 was on the first pitch of a world series. Incredible!
So I'm guessing by that data that an unassisted triple play is a lot more rarer than an inside the park home run, but not rarer than a game ending inside the park home run.
@@kevinstull8552 No, I would still count the unassisted triple play as rarer. There have only been 735 triple plays in MLB history, with 591 of those coming in the modern game (which is usually counted as since 1901), so the triple play is just more rare in general.
Out of those how many were grand slams?
That pagan Homer was awsome
It ruined his career and the Giants season
@@smellslikeproductions1024that home run was between the years when we won 3 in 5 years so nobody really cares
@@smellslikeproductions1024 I remembered it being practically career ending. I looked up his stats and totally forgot he played 129+ games in 2015 and 2016 for the Giants. He even had a career high in homers in 2016. Those in-between years (2011, 2013, 2015) were so bizarre.
I miss Prince Fielder, he should have been able to play 5 or 6 more years, hope his health has improved.
It's always a wonderful day when MLB uploads highlights!
Bonifacio's was the most impressive, as it was the only one that didn't involve a misplay or weird carom.
My buddy has the Naquin inside the park hr ball!
There’s no way if I was Red Sox manager that buddy would still be in the game after not even making an attempt to get the ball after seeing it hit the wall behind him….and just stands there watching another fielder run in to get the ball, that dude needs a few games to sit down and rest imo…
I like that Cecil Fielder did this with a Dairy Queen sign as the backdrop
The great Ichiro Sazuki the only player to hit an inside the park HR at a All Star game.
I remember watching the Angel Pagan walk-off Live , from home. Just screaming at my tv lol 🧡 🖤 🧡 🖤
Toby Harrah and Bump Wills go back to back inside the park HR's back in the late 70's.
Prince Fielder and inside-the-park homer run is something I'd never thought I'd see!
He was moving, too. I’ve seen that clip quite a few times & it always catches me off guard how much hustle Prince had.
That play should be given honorary football 0lay statistics and added to compilations of big man plays.
35 years of going to games and I've never seen an inside the park home run. Always wanted to. It looks so damned exciting.
On the Griffey Jr. homerun, I don't know who the left fielder was, but he had blazing speed running after the ball.
You can’t tell prince never learned how to round bases😂
Lmao bro . Yes !
I'm sure it's tough having to sort through hundreds of thousands, if not millions of games worth of game footage. But I remember Luis Sojo scoring an inside the park HR in '95 for the Mariners, and Dan Wilson for the Mariners as well back in '98!
I was at that game. Prince Fielder's inside home run was due to hitting a speaker on the Metrodome roof. The good news was that Morneau hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th.
3:08 amazing cut
How Jarred Duran is still playing after that effort?
Exactly what I said
He’s a beast and better than ur teams lead off hitter
@@sammyhoops5902 effort>taleny
He already saw the leftfielder sprinting after it
@@Aldrickrosas14 you still have to give effort lol
They saved the best for last. That Griffey inside the Parker was my first game I ever went to.
Let’s go JT! 🔥💪🏻
Got to love MLB
this is probably the most exciting overall play in baseball.....
Pagan’s had the best call though
Wish my Reds would bring back George Grand
How do you not have Hamiton's call on the Naquin homer
Where the heck was the left fielder on the prince hit. Thats why you always back up your teammate
A lot of these are outfielders not backing up other outfielders...
Naquin with the best celebration of all time
Great, now please add Roberto Clemente 's walk off inside the park grand slam, as far as I know the only one ever!
I Love Baseball ⚾
Fairchild's was clearly an error
Missed out on Tom Hamilton's Usain Naquin
Only the Mets would allow an ITP HR in the World Series. Why am I a fan of this team?
Pause at 7:15 That should be his baseball card photo. :)
Prince Fielder has 2 inside the park homers... Prince Fielder
I know it's the twins broadcast, but man, at least try and have a little more energy for the big guy getting an inside the park home run 😆
Attaboy, Acuna! LoL
Prince Fielder! 🚂🚂🚆🚇
Angel Pagan was an amazing Giant!
Yeah, Cubs missed the boat on him
Tapia's ITP GS the rarest of all rare GS's
Nah, the rarest of all rare grand slams is a walk off, inside the park grand slam, which has occurred exactly once in MLB history. Roberto Clemente did so on July 25, 1956 against the Chicago Cubs.
Angel Pagan's was easily the best, then again I'm a diehard Giants fan
I am not a Giants fan but I found that to be the most exciting one. Maybe it's because I just happened to watch it live. The only other one I watched live was Escobar's. That one wasn't great, then again I'm a biased Mets fan.
Any team that lets prince fielder hit an inside the park home run should have half their wins vacated 😭😂
Jesus…how tf do you not include Tony Womack’s grand slam or the two inside the park home runs in the same game by him and Sammy Sosa?
Bro said both cheeks into it
Prince Fielder running…
How fabulous was it that Ken Griffey Sr. was a teammate and a coach while his kidnick played and excelled. His cup MUST be runneth-ing over.
Lew Ford was doopey.
12:02 I don’t think Griffey touched 3rd
70
10 -0 Jays over Red Sox top 3, crowd should have started leaving
It is the Blue Jays, they are always prone to give up a ton of runs lol.
BJ Upton might have the worst effort I’ve ever seen from a Center Fielder
Jarren Duran not running after the ball was pathetic. If Papelbon was still on the team, he would have punched him before he got to the dugout.
Duran não merece vestir o uniforme do Red Sox
@0:01 if you as an outfielder can let a lard round the bases...go back to the minors.
These new LED lights dont give off that blinding effect on high pop ups. So you're not going to see these inside the parks' much anymore
Langford literally hit an inside the Parker for his first career last month
Elly De La Cruz:
@@notsamhoward "Not going to see them *much* anymore"
@@CosmicStar3 "Not going to see them *much* anymore"
@Aldrickrosas14 what were you born in the 1890s? Inside the parkers have always been rare, you watch too many highlight clips and not enough games
Worst ad timing ever. C'mon MLB, do you even edit these?
