Features 2019 World's Strongest Man Martins Licis. Спорт
The way he is saying Licis is infuriating!
I love Mateuszs attitude, he is always humble
Yeah, humble pie band !!
I think WSM could learn a lot from the way this competition is organized.
YES
Everybody must love mikhail shivlyakov
Absoluty, such a nice guy.
This guy is a class act. Hats off!
I have a theory that Misha is actually fluent in English and just pretends that he’s not to mess with people hahaha
@@beardedbjorn5520 hes russian. so thats very much possible
The whole family went to ultimate strong uk last year. It was an incredible three days. Best sporting event i have ever been too. Thankyou Glen Ross. The daddy rules!
Mateusz was dominant here. Needed to improve his deadlift, one of the barometers of static strength.
What a great event and I didn't even know this existed!
At last, a comp I can watch in full on YT. Thanks guys, this was great, hope the event goes from strength to strength BOOM BOOM
It's a shame that Mateusz lost only because of the deadlift while winning 4 of 5 events and even getting new world record
Krzysiek Chmielowiec Same with Robert Oberst. He is super strong in everything but the deadlift, which kills his placements.
@@SiFuJasper deadlift definitely hurts Oberst but i dont think the two can be compared. Mateusz would win wsm and Arnold if he had a good deadlift but Oberst wouldn't.
@@SiFuJasper Mateusz woud eat Robert Oberst's dinner any day any comp
@A.A.Ron Davis I think he set a wr on the dumbbell as well
I think the same thing happened to him at the Arnold last year
27:56 Geof Capes covered in gold confetti giving the thumbs up is a sight to behold hahaha
Thanks for uploading this!! I love ultimate Strongman shows so much, they always look so well organized and fun
These events were absolutely brutal
Thx for the upload never seen that flag event before. It could be interesting in a heavy medley too, like, fingal, flag, log and than anchor drag
Thanks for uploading this
Great post.
thank you for the upload, I subscribed
Those stones being unvarnished made that event so much harder than it needed to be.
Wonder what made Licis compete for Latvia there? He normally competes under the stars and stripes Of the USA.
Probably because they had 2 guys from the U.S. already. The Daddy likes to make it seem more international, he’s had a couple of guys from England compete for their parents countries before as well.
AMAZING
Martins really is a jack of all trades, but master of none. He is a fantastic athlete.
jack of all trades and THE master of squat for reps and atlas stone
He is gonna be one to watch at wsm this year, he is so disciplined and prepared
that's how you win comps tho, being strong overall
Insane to think men are lifting over half a ton these days. BigZ did it a few yrs back with hummer DL, Eddies unbelievable lift in traditional DL, followed by Thor. This WR... i mean however you do it, its half a ton mate. Crikey.
I absolutely adore the way the commentator pronounces Licis' name 😂
*In case you're wondering why: Licis himself pronounces his own name "Lee-Sis".*
Glenn Ross has my body type
Mateusz what I aspire to be
I don't think I've seen Shivlykov compete when he wasn't hurt.
Great to see martins here.
Anyone going to say anything about the flags being on the ground?
Só os melhores do mundo
This commentator pronouncing the name of Martin Licis wrong all the time is getting on my nerves
Same with "Mateusz Kieliszkowski." Usually stuff like that bugs me, but it didn't so much this time -- maybe because the commentator (and everyone else) seemed so enthusiastic for the competitors and the event. But, yeah, a few minutes spent beforehand making sure that everyone on the mic knows the correct pronunciation of the competitors' names (same as any event where you're introducing people) would be well spent.
Cool video and cool comp, though -- thoroughly enjoyed.
Lie-sees or Lee-cheese
Same goes for people writing the name wrong ;-)
Dude the polish boy is just a force to reckon with
RH sets new WR commentator says " he really wants this world record" but captions says " he really wants that woman" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Martins kills it on flags.
The speaker at 1:05oo ,won the "watermelon swallowing race", ahahahah !!
Who knew John Popper was also an emcee for Strongman events?
New to me this is
This compilation was something else
🔥🙌🏋🏻♂️
Is that Alan Thrall in the back at 51:32?
Have they ever asked atleet how to pronounce he's name? It's a joke
34:30 absolutely massive shade at Terry Hollands
I thought he was talking about Eddie.
@@markusl6412 He's definitely talking about Eddie. Hollands has never really entered shows for records.
Dude needs to go to the hospital to get his traps looked at. That aint right lol
How was the SDD a new world record when Tom Magee liftet 535 kg in 1983?
Is that Glenn Ross?
49:03 That's quite some disappointment for ya!
No deadlift no win
Who’s the heavy fella who keeps touching all of the competitors?
You mean Glenn "the daddy" Ross?
Yet j can' t understand why in same place somebody lift 220 kg and in other site, the same man is unable to lift 180 kg (logs)
Well first of all very few strongmen can lift 220 kg haha
Also, when you have other logs to press it weakens your shoulders for the next lift
The russian' s trick of the leg,
150kg one handed ohp... 😲😲😲😲
Eddie hall had a 535 kg 18 inch dl? Why is 505 the new wr?
Because there's absolutely no proof those two crates full of books weighed 535 kg.
Ya know, if one guy suddenly lifted the 5th stone, he'd supercede the other, faster guy... ridiculous.
If Janashia would be rational and pull smoothly he may have been able to get more. But he’s more concerned about appearing strong than actually being strong. I can’t help but be upset looking at those nasty oil injections all over his upper body. You’re a strongman dude, you don’t need to appear to be strong you prove it in your job.

Jesus Geoff Capes got big in a bad way
Just aging man.. Kaz looks pretty good tho
@@anthonyharding6051 Dudes obese. Kaz and Magnus are still in decent shape.
If Zydrunas, Biby or Hall showed up we would’ve seen the 200kg log go up
Maybe. Its alot harder doing them back to back verses having proper rest periods.
wtf is a hadge and why are you calling Janashia this word? LOL i kid
The record for silver dollar deadlift isn't 500kg -_-
You miss heard. He was talking about regular deadlift when said 500kg
@@dravendenison7829 Nah he said 500 last year set at this event
Joe Hill 13:12 put the captions on “this is the silver dollar deadlift, the bar is higher you can lift bigger weights than the regular deadlift. The world record is 500 kilos in that”
Thought it was held by Tom McGee? About 536kg or something like that.
Yeah I have no idea where they got their information, but from what I can find, the previous silver dollar WR deadlift is 1125 pounds (511.36 KG) by Ken Brown in 2008. Even today there is no record online about Heinla holding a WR in the silver dollar deadlift
flag of shame!

ههههههههه hhhhhhhhhhh
MARTIN LISCIS REPRESENT U.S.A EVEN DO HE BORN IN LATVIA ... ???
