- Do you remember the first time we came here? - Yeah, with Pau.. -YEAH! A small but brilliant detail how he answers too quickly as if to get it over with fast enough for anyone to notice.
The brilliance of Andy is that he keeps getting thrust into situations that he believes are beneath him without realising that (a) you can actually make the most of such situations with open-mindedness and (b) he’s in no position to be picky.
1:37 I love the facial expressions of the four guys. Most people seem to like the bald guy, but I love how the guy in the stripey shirt on the end gives that awkward shuffle and the look down 🤣
So well done. Every time I watch I see some new amateur touches. Those seats are WAY too small for those four big guys. And I like the 'flicker' of the stage lights at 0:20. And the guy in the front row at 0:29 is SO enthusiastic. Brilliant.
The way gervais plays this is fantastic. He tries to act hard and butch to his mates in the audience but still tries to act the part on the play- omg so funny.
Boss Hogg! 😂 The guy next to him shifting his legs like "I'm not gonna sit thru this" but his mates are too bewildered to notice and say "Hey wtf are we doing here? Let's go". 😂
@ Boss Hogg, that’s it. “Andy pandy”….. “ah no, poofters at 12 o’clock”, “what can you do”. “Andy, thanks for getting the tickets, love”., “no worries”. Episode is hilarious. When they head down to the changing rooms and McKellen’s like, “get the lube”, and Andy’s got his keks down by his ankles 🤣
@@rickipaddon6962 😆🤣 but I forget the "get the lube" part, it's been years since I watched these. @ 🤣🤣🤣 brilliant! The episode with the welsh bloke as well who gets him a scene with Samuel L. Jackson.. Andy’s like, “thanks, I don’t know how to repay you”.. he’s like, “ah don’t worry about it.. just take me out one night, on the town”. Then later in the restaurant he’s like, “go on open it…. Still hilarious, but man that look from Greg at the end is the most heart breaking shot of the entire show. Like, Andy could have had it all - even Greg was there to support him, and he blew it
