The grace of God through the gospel determines the individuals salvation. The grace through the gospel determines the individuals eternal security. In both cases this was accomplished in spite of the individuals merit or lack of merit. Eternal salvation is determined by God and not humanity. To assume that one is saved by divine grace but is kept by human merit / effort is a logical fallacy. To believe one can lose their salvation is to reduce the sacrifice of Christ practically to the level of the offerings of bulls and goats in the OT.
Very well said Yankee
@@YankeeArnoldMinistries thanks my friend.
Oh, Dr. Arnold, you always make me laugh, and remind me just exactly Who has me in His hands, especially on my rough-around-the-edges days. :) Thank you so much!
Yankee said you lost.

Another blessed message from Yankee Arnold lead by Holy Spirit
Amen ❤ Jesus is Lord
my grandma always said pastor Yanke the only unforgiving sin was not to believe,,she shared that when I lost my mother from a suicide, and yes she believed in Jesus Christ, as myself growing up in church, got saved when I was 12 ,and your explaining of the Gospel made me realize I'm saved cause I can never be good enough.,that the death burial and resurrection thru faith that we maybe righteous enough to be in the presence of God. Thank you Pastor Yankees
💞💐💞 So sorry to hear about your Mother. That must have been so hard on you. She is for sure with the Lord. He said He will never leave us or forsake us & I believe Him❣️ Won't it be wonderful when we're all together with the Lord & He will wipe away every tear❣️ May God bless & heal you❣️🙋
Wow! What a powerful sermon brother Yankee. I loved it. I just never get tired of hearing your stories because they are true and in some of your stories, it brings tears in my eyes. You are my pastor indeed. So glad to see you all cheery, smiling and with so much joy and how you love to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, you do it with love and especially, your sincere concern for getting lost souls to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ so that they can get saved. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you and Betty!
My favorite Pastor.
I love you Yankee. You tell it so I can believe it! What a relief from religion.
Yankee, we love you bud. You're the best. Don't ever stop being you.
The thief on the cross adjacent to Jesus was saved, not baptized.
ALL MEANS ALL PRAISE THE LORD AMEN
Dr. Arnold, what exactly is the message that calvinists forgot? I did not catch what that was in your message.
Jesucristo es Dios
You've gotten fancy with the computer Bro. Arnold.
80 is not too old to learn. Glad you like it. Yankee
Excellent.
Praise Jesus!
@24:04 - "The security of the believer is wrapped up in believing..." This is the key to knowing whether or not you remain saved on this side of eternity.
Beautiful message!
You always make me smile!!!
Great , comforting message again.
Thank you, Pastor Arnold.
Grace in UK.
I love you Yankee Arnold ❤️❤️❤️❤️ from Scotland 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴 God bless you. The Lord bless you and Betty. Keep you save and well till the rapture. See you when we get there. Much much love 💝
Insecurity and self doubt always puts fear in your heart and the belief maybe your not chosen but just the close but not close enough can really wear you out but luckily a Preacher like Daddy Yankee gives you the plain truth that the gift of Grace is bigger than the doubt what a gift we have in this Pastor I pray he doesn’t leave us soon
I am so blessed by you Dr Arnold thank you 🙏
Brother Yankee you preach truth.
You are a vessel for noble use..
The holy spirit talks thru you
May God bless you
Oh yeah he already has
Grace, grace grace amen
Yes I believe that he is led by the Holy Spirit❤☦️
Hallelujah, the Lord be magnified.
I agree, thank you Yankee.
1 John 1:9 is talking about parental forgiveness, not judicial forgiveness.
They are different concepts entirely. The one has to do with eternal salvation for the unbeliever, the other with experiential fellowship for the believer.
It is possible to abuse 1 John 1:9 by taking it too far and turning it into OCD. But denying it's place in the Christian life is also wrong.
Confession of sin for the believer is a trans-dispensational truth seen throughout the Bible. David confesses his sin to the Lord after his adultery with Bathsheba:
(Psalms 32:5) I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will *confess* my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou *forgavest* the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
I personally use that verse to show someone that they are sinners in need of a saviour.
Yes, it's great for temporal fellowship with God here on earth too.
@@colonalklink14 Hermeneutically, every verse only has one interpretation. Any secondary application you draw from that verse should not supersede the primary interpretation.
I say this, because there are people who teach that 1 John 1 is written to unbelievers - which is false.
@@biblebeliever2795 Well count me in that number because I use it for unbelievers( showing people that they are sinners in need of a saviour), and also for believers in as much as temporal fellowship with God here on earth is concerned.
This is the first sermon i heard from this guy and wow it's really a message. God bless
L💟ve Pastor Yankee Arnold❣️ He has a lot of edifying sermons on here! Hope you subscribed! 🤗
Another powerful sermon of the Gospel. Thank you Pastor Yankee 🙏 always for you and Ms.Betty.
Wonderful sermon, as usual. I relate to what you were saying several places. I was saved at four, but grew up under the teachings of different churches. At least one believed you lose your salvation if you sin. This is partially why I was baptized 12 times.
When someone tells me that, today, that you can lose your salvation if you sin or forget to confess them, I ask a couple of simple questions.
Does God really love those who are saved?
If a person is not saved, lives his life in sin and on his death bed comes to believe in Christ, will God save him?
Does it really make sense that a person who God loves, whom He saved, can be saved at 20 and sins at 30 cannot go to heaven while a person who sinned 60 years can go to heaven?
It sounds to me like your God loves the sinner but hates those he saved who sins.
Pastor Arnold didn't say God hates His children. He said the opposite.
Good message brother
the gospel that makes perfect sense was lost but now im found!!!!!!!
Thank you Pastor💛
I love you brother Yankee Arnold! Thank you for the wonderful sermon! God bless you sir!
Calvinism is the most subtle cult in Christianity.
Thank you for your sermons❣️ Glad you are feeling better❣️

It is no longer I who do it but sin that lives in me Rom 7:17,20.
Thank you Pastor.
Love your sermons.
Water Baptism is a work, and we know there are is no work but Christ’s involved in salvation. Were they not baptized FOR the forgiveness of sin, like one is arrested FOR murder? They are damned for unbelief, not for staying dry.
They were baptized if they believed what John the baptist said about Jesus Christ. The water was not to wash away sins but a picture of the one who took away their sins by his death, burial and resurrection to come. It was John that said while pointing to Christ, "Behold, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. If you have a question, ask it, but do not teach on my site. I do that. Yankee. If you must be baptized in water to be saved, then I would be your savior if I baptized you.
Pastor Arnold explains the gospel so perfectly (NO WORKS). My question comes about what happens afterward. Can a lost person willingly "accept or reject" the gospel message when salvation is by simply believing the gospel? They are saved when they are persuaded, right? Can someone reject something they had been persuaded of or accept something they don’t believe? But, asking a person to accept or reject the gospel seems odd because the person who the gospel was shared with has already been persuaded, thus saved, at that point, or they believe not, regardless if they choose to accept or reject the gospel. I don't think a lost person can accept what he doesn't truly believe, or reject that which he has been truly persuaded of. It just seems like a person either believes something or they don’t. And salvation is by only believing, not by choosing to believe. Thank you for letting me share my thoughts and ask questions.
Is this guy a sinner???
We all are. Some here are just saved sinners
@@Hisword07 Don't complain if your wives start bonking other men or if your children become transgendered. They will have all you "saved sinners" as an example.
You're saved from sin or you're not saved at all.
@@boldforchrist9000 So it's been a year since you made your ridiculous post. I'm curious, how goes it for you? Have you gone the entire year without sinning once? If not, then kindly shut up....
The whole world is populated by sinners.
@@erickanter he should change his name to Ralph "Sinner" Arnold
Sorry, brother, but this is not a "message Calvinists forgot." The gospel is clear: Jesus is the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the Kosmos (us). This is a message that most Baptists have long forgotten, or never knew. Confession of sin is no different from celebration of the Lord's Supper: to REMEMBER that He is our Righteousness. Water is not the "baptism of Christ," the Holy Spirit is. And we proclaim "...ONE baptism..." Those born again belong to Him, from the foundation of the world. Finally, brother, you are wrong that Jesus was God. Jesus IS God! And He liveth and reigneth, one God, now and forever. Amen.
If you understood that once you are totally forgiven of all sin there’s absolutely no sin in the future to ever condemn you therefore leaving absolutely no need for perseverance in the faith to prove saved or stay saved or to be saved at all Christ was baptized in water at the beginning of his ministry if you remember If I state that Jesus was God in the flesh is that true or false if he was God he steal his I did not create a straw man so you do not need to either thank you God bless Yankee
There is no eternal security until we are dead. This does not mean that we have to be afraid of every little unconfessed sin, it means we need to keep our faith in Christ. If, after we are saved, we put our faith in something other than Christ than you walk away from salvation. You said it yourself, "if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you," So often, Christians get full of themselves, forget that they need a savior and give "heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils" and depart from the faith.
Sorry, but you are dead wrong! If you keep in memory was referring to the fact that Christ DID RISE AGAIN FROM THE DEAD, so our faith or trusting in Christ was not in vain. Read I Cor. 15 Yankee
@@YankeeArnoldMinistries If only I was dead wrong, that would mean that I could have all of the benefits of being a Christian without any of the responsibility. Every mention of Salvation comes with the condition that we keep our faith in Christ. The parable of the sower clearly spells this out. Salvation is a contract between you and Christ. It is a simple IF/THEN statement for those in the programming world. IF you put and keep your faith in Christ, THEN you receive salvation. IF you move your faith elsewhere, THEN you walk away from that salvation. If this were not true, there would be no need for the warnings against apostasy to all of the true Christians in the Bible.
@@pipkinrahl7264 you just said if we have faith and keep faith then we receive salvation…. Meaning in your view, we don’t get salvation at the moment of faith? For by grace you have been saved…
John 3:36 completely destroys your comment. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” Did you see that, SHALL NOT SEE LIFE. Not that they had life and lost it.
Jesus said we will never perish forever. He said nobody can snatch us from his and the fathers hand. He said we’ve passed from death to life. Seated in heavenly places. Born again, born from above. If we are faithless and believe not, he is faithful for he cannot deny himself. Jesus said we will never hunger. Never thirst. We will not come into condemnation…. You’re saying it’s possible for us to thirst again, to hunger again.
Once you’re saved, you’re saved forever.
We live the Christian life because it’s our reasonable service. Salvation is a gift, and the gifts and callings of God are without repentance. It’s not a contract between us and God, based on our merit and keeping the faith, we take Jesus at his Word for who he is and what he’s done for us, just like he said to Martha “ do you believe this” you either have believed or have not believed. Jesus said to the women at the well, if you knew who I was, you’d ask me and I would give you living water and you’ll never thirst again!
Warnings about apostasy are for our benefit. Also some passages teach on rewards for believers or suffering loss of those rewards. Our growth spiritually in this life and our sanctification and our walk. God the Father will discipline his children and therefore we are warned not to do it. Same with committing other sins and living in carnality… but the believer will be saved as through fire.
@@letstalktech96 you just said if we have faith and keep faith then we receive salvation…. Meaning in your view, we don’t get salvation at the moment of faith? For by grace you have been saved… You forgot a part, "Through faith" don't forget the faith part. Wanting to be a Christian with all of the benefits but none of the responsibility is the very definition of spiritual immaturity.
@@pipkinrahl7264 the whole point is it says you have been saved, as in at the moment of faith it happens. Same as Jesus says you have eternal life in the present tense
