My wife got her green card during trumps last term and it was super easy. I did all the paperwork myself and i am a missionary not a lawyer. It took a total of 9 months. We are now filing for her citizenship under the 319b exemption. All things have a process, the best thing you can do is just tell the truth and ket the process take it course, at the end of the day everythibg is in the Lord's hands.

That’s what I did when I was around 10 months and found out they transferred my papers to Nebraska office. Unless they are just moving slow. The NVC part should move quick if you provide all the documents they ask for you and your wife. I submitted my AOS Dec 30th and got DQ in 2 weeks. I just kept praying. I am sure yours will get approved soon 😊 sometimes it’s take 13-14 months. But you guys will be together soon.

Same thing with K1-Visas. My fiancee of 10 years was granted the visa with no issues by the US Embassy in Ecuador. Many attorneys just out to make money and not do anything. I am a US Citizen and I filed all the paperwork myself and guided my fiancee on the information that was needed. It helps to though that she was a practicing attorney in Ecuador for 8 years so we really did our best to understand what information was needed exactly. Two weeks before her interview, another attorney that assisted her told her that she 100% felt my fiancee would not be denied her K1-VIsa and she was correct!

If we file for his green card after we get married is he gonna have to go back to his country for 10 years??? It would be absolutely emotionally and economically devastating for my family as I’m a stay at home mom to our 1 year old baby daughter and I have a son (his stepson) who’s father would not permit me to take him outside the country for 10 years even though I have temporary full custody (he’s going through lots of court for contempt and domestics and negligence and DWI’s… multiple) on the other hand my fiance does not even have a parking ticket to his name

    Good morning, Attorney Hacking,
Thank you for your insightful videos-they've been incredibly helpful.
I'm currently assisting a close friend in filing Form I-130 based on their recent marriage to a U.S. citizen last October. However, my friend is anxious about moving forward due to lingering concerns from the turmoil of the current administration, particularly the fear of potential ICE involvement.
Would you recommend filing the I-130 now or waiting a few months to mitigate any potential risks? Many people remain apprehensive, and it's disheartening to see so much fear around this process.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Best regards,
