Ahh, white winter hymnal! the sweetest and most melodic song about decapitation I ever did hear! it legitimately lifts my heart and soul every time i hear it. Ragged wood is also so uplifting af! ❤

Fleet Foxes, these guys really are very good, just have to applaud. His music is really a work of art.
what really amazes me is they never played white winter hymnal together until they recorded it...... They're extremely talented. Sadly, I'm here because of pentatonix. I'm really liking them. Wish i would have known about then before now.

I've listened to this version so many times that when I'm listening to White Winter Hymnal on my ipod I just expect to hear that epic guitar bit into the next song
Harmonies are in twine with Simon and Garfunkel, beautiful melodies
makes me think of a quaint farm on a mountain for some reason.... just breathing in the fresh air, and home cooked meals. :)

perfect as an Old-Master winter scene on a Christmas card, blown away when I first heard them, every song was a classic.

Robin's voice changed a bit, in 2008 sounds more powerful but in this video sounds weak. I've seen a lot of videos from this year and I can note a huge difference.

I do not think they were on the top of their game during this performance. When i saw Fleet Foxes last year in Salt Lake City everything was perfect. It was easily the pinnical of my life :)

That's got nothing to do with what i'm talking about. The Hofner bass is so iconic that is called "the Beatle bass". Paul McCartney still uses one, that's why i asked if you ever saw a video of them... because is the bass Christian is using here.

I wish i could hear the other vocalists a bit better, but still a great performance!
You can really see the linearity of bands like PJ, Alice In Chains, NIRVANA, setting the climate for bands like FF, moondoggies, head and heart to take off. Several friends in these bands and we grew up
