Really glad you shared the ingredients with us and instead of making them as "secret ingredients" and use it for commercial purposes like most of the hairstylers in youtube did. Thank you.
I done my seasalt spray same as yours but my one i add lemon and Conditioner. the lemon is for give a light colour in my hair and smell's great. Conditioner for acts as heat protectant. :)
hilman syafeeq did it work for you? How much lemon and conditioner did you add? And what conditioner did you add? Sorry for all the questions and for the LATE reply, thanks!
i made this, it works so well i added i lil bit of heat protectant, a lil lemon, and argon oil as an extra, it just works so well, thank you i have naturally wavy hair, and when i put this in damp hair, then blowdry, with a very little pomade, it looks so natural and soft and healthy and really thick
+Galaxy Motions Hey, a bit of advice ... when making this spray if you use Argan oil well in general using Argan oil, you never need heat protectant with it ... Argan oil works as a natural heat protectant ... if you don't believe me you could search it up c:
Love this "recipe," although I'd suggest---since you're using all natural products otherwise---that you substitute the commercial hair gel with a DIY flaxseed hair gel (plenty of videos on YT for that). If not, eventually the chemicals in that commercial gel are going to clog your pores and make your hair fall out, no question about it. Thanks for the video.
Love you videos, one of the questions I have for you, is how often do you wash your hair, especially when use styling products everday, do you just rinse it out?
Robin James I got a question I'm going to go get a hair cut and am wondring what to tell the hair cut person... I want to have the same style as you. I have semi long hair
Hello Robin. If I just using warm water and sea salt only, will it work? My plan is to apply a dim size of hair conditioner and those salt spray while my hair is damp. For finishing, I'll simply put a dim size of hair wax. Will it work that way? Tq.
Great video, Robin. Do you think that little bit of coconut oil provides enough heat protection from the hair dryer? Also, you think I could spray some cologne in it instead of an oil?
Hey Robin, I really love these hair style and they are perfect for me because i have hair that isnt that thick, its on the thin side a little like yours, all of these are awesome. Although, i have a question would this spray be good to use for the fringe hairstyle you did?
There must be a reason why mass manufacturers usually don‘t include sea salt in sea salt sprays at all. It‘s either because of using cheaper alternatives or trying to avoid the drying damage that sea salt does when used in long terms.
I've noticed many of them use magnesium sulfate ( Epsom salt) which is known for making hair look fuller but it can also make your hair brittle and fragile.
Hey! I'm from India. First of all, thumbs up for your channel. I wanna know that are there any restrictions for making a quiff? I mean hair length etc. Aryan. :)
omg robin ur da best, ur so helpful thx man this is go easy. but i just have one question how long will the style last if im using hairspray as well and can i use nprmal coconut oil?
Robin, can you recommend a shampoo that doesn't leave your hair with lots of volume after using it? My hair is naturally thick with volume and shampooing it makes it almost unmanageable
Hey Robin first thing you r awosome all the the videos you make are useful now to the point can you please make a toutorial video about the hairstyle of captian America aka Steve Rogers as in The Avengers 2012
You forgot to mention how long it would last as there are no preservatives (except the ones that comes in the hair gel) and whether the spray is needed to be held in refrigerator.
NO its not the fucking same. dont tell this guy its the same when you obviously dont know shit. normal salt contains jodium which is really bad for your hair.
I've heard if you have thin and fragile hair follicles then it can damage. But salt hair spray is very good for natural, curly and thick hair. So if you have normal- thick hair it will be fine. If you have thin hair, I would use it with caution
Would it be possible to, instead of an essential oil, use an EDT? or an EDP? For example Versace pour Homme or something? just a small amount to have that mellow fresh scent barely there?
Robin! you've done Harry and Zayn's hairstyle but you forgot the one with the best hair! Can you do a "how to" for Liam? I don't trust any other youtuber than you.
I have to ask you something about maldon sea salt. I have a sea salt ( maldon). But in this one writes "seasoning with substance". I observed, in the sea salt you use, it doesn't exist. Can this thing affect the result?
best tutorial + he actually uses it on his own hair
Really glad you shared the ingredients with us and instead of making them as "secret ingredients" and use it for commercial purposes like most of the hairstylers in youtube did. Thank you.
That haircut suits this video so much 👏🏻👏🏻 Robin your amazing man!😘
your shirt buttons are the same color as your hears. Next level style
Wow amazin how far did this piece of info get you in life? X

Half of lemon juice n peunut size of conditioner . Any brands can make it
hilman syafeeq when you say half of lemon juice, do you mean cut a lemon in half and get all the juice from half of it? Thanks so much for responding!

Thank you for this, I've used it and it works but with one change which I think is for the better, replace coconut oil with argan oil.
Or organic jojoba oil
@@laurajaye9 I did actually try that as well, I got better results with the argan oil which also by nature lends itself to this specific use.
@@ragetobe perfect 👍🏼
I had used aloe vera gel instead of gel.... I loved it
Thanks you so much Robin . This salt spray changed the texture of my hair and gave it a great volume and hold ♥
What brand of gel did you put in yours?
I just add some more salt and hair gel to this spray and also add some aloe Vera gel for added benefit.
It really works Robin you are a great inspiration for men and boys

You deserve more likes and subscribers.
your hair looks so strong and shiny , what is your favourite shampoo and conditioner ?
Hey Nhat, I change my products depending how my hair feels. Not one I always use.
I LOVE this!! Making it now-- You Rock! Thanks for Posting!!!
Thanks for sharing the ingredients. Just curious though, why coconut oil?
Is it possible to substitute it with other types of oil?
zliwy coconut oil gives your hair insane conditioning and texture
Should it work with just salt and water? I have fine hair so I already have oily hair and I don’t trust gel products because of the alcohol content
Are there health benefis by using the spray on your hair? Does it get hard since theres a gel with it?
I use it without gel, so it give much more control over my hair when it dries up.
kim geomjeong coconut oil is filled with amazing nutrients that make your hair very good
👍, looks great! Can’t wait to try it out for myself

Awesome I love your channel keep up the good work. This is just what I need.
Great video, Robin. Do you think that little bit of coconut oil provides enough heat protection from the hair dryer? Also, you think I could spray some cologne in it instead of an oil?
Cologne will damage your hair due to the alcohol content!
Excellent technique!
+Ivan Cuevas Soria Thanks Ivan

Hey Glen! Totally. Perfect for the fringe style.

Can we use normal salt. But it's really clever idea
Alamin Ahmed yes
Robin, can you recommend a shampoo that doesn't leave your hair with lots of volume after using it? My hair is naturally thick with volume and shampooing it makes it almost unmanageable
I just bought some pre made at the store. I didn't think sea salt dissolved in water and I don't want the coconut oil.
Great job though.
1-Can I use Olive oil instead of Coconut oil?
2- Is tablesalt suitable except sea salt?
1: Yes, or argan oil and moringa oil
2: No. Sea salt is cheap, don't mess about.
Love the video! Gonna give it a try
hey robin am a big fan of you, what if I use natural mine/table salt? kindly advise me
Hey Robin, do you have a video on protecting your hair against heat damage? as I use a hair dryer quite frequently
Hey Robin first thing you r awosome all the the videos you make are useful now to the point can you please make a toutorial video about the hairstyle of captian America aka Steve Rogers as in The Avengers 2012
Do you need to put a preservative in it as well? Or will the product stay good in the spray bottle?
Fun! Gonna make some today
How did you get on?
your videos are still very good
Hey robin I love your videos a lot!!!! Music sounds great!! ;)

Great video! But isn't the salt spray unhealthy for the hair?
I've heard if you have thin and fragile hair follicles then it can damage. But salt hair spray is very good for natural, curly and thick hair. So if you have normal- thick hair it will be fine. If you have thin hair, I would use it with caution

+Carlson Joseph Thanks Carlson.
+Robin James what kind of oil is that lemon grass?
+dumbgrasses it's wang sausage
***** lolol
Any type of hair gel will do or can we substitute hair gel?
Robin, whats the difference between adding coconut oil and argan oil?
So, coconut oil separates from the water and solidifies at 76f. Although it's good stuff, it's not a good mixture for colder climate
can I make it with pomade?
is there a difference between sea salt and himalayan salt answer please
Emmanuel Ayala yes there is
himalayan is from himalayas so yes
Love you and your vids robin
+Alex Bowell Love you back
Nice job bro!!
Would it be possible to, instead of an essential oil, use an EDT? or an EDP? For example Versace pour Homme or something? just a small amount to have that mellow fresh scent barely there?
How can i preserve this spray n for how much time. .. ? Can i use rose water instead of tap water to increase its preservative life?
Anyway to stop the coconut oil from clumping and jamming the sprayer?
You don't have to add the coconut oil...I don't and it still works great
@@keriholcomb8741 so you only use saltwater and gel? Sorry I'm 2 years late for this
