For everyone asking if you can use normal salt instead of sea salt - Normal salt will not give the same rough texture you can get from sea salt. I'm sure it would work to a certain extent but not as well as sea salt. Also sea salt is super cheap and you can find it in tons of places
+Devin Hay #1 it's too short so grow it out to about 3" #2 what product are you using? #3 are you using a blow dryer or heat iron? if not you need to for a quiff

I'm wondering why he didn't mix the salt with the water before putting it into the bottle. Easier than kinda guiding the dry salt into the opening haha.
From what I've seen, Blu Maan as a product seems very user friendly. Only downside it's limited to some countries so it costs some of us that are unfortunate enough to have to resort to international shipping. Hope you guys can branch out soon!
The Original by Blumann is awesome!! I got mine in the mail yesterday. I tried it on for the first time today and I could definitely see why it took so many people to result in this product!! Great work!!
This is what I used! 1/2 cup steamy water 1/2 teaspoon Morton sea salt 1/2 teaspoon (Moroccan oil for first try) -- I haven’t tried it yet but it smells nice! Just tried, I think it’s a nice pre style but isn’t holding as well as a store bought product, I think it needs double the salt but it smells really nice and is an excellent pre styling tool (My hair is completely dry now after a shower) (silky soft straight brown hair)

+Joseph Clare if you'r having trouble getting volume in thin hair chances are your hair is to long. Dre Drexler is a good example of someone with thin hair and still able to get volume. With thick hair like mine, you can grow your hair longer and still have it look volumized. You can achieve the same look but thin hair needs to be shorter on top :)
+Joseph Clare Get shorter hair, put product evenly in damp hair, blowdry head down while gently pulling your hair away from the scalp. That's what I dooooo.
Wow…any day with Joe’s hair is a good hair day (CLEARLY, God loves you more than he loves me). On top of that, I feel dumb and guilty for spending 21 quid on salt spray. Good video though!
Thank you for telling me what each ingredient is for--I was having trouble deciding between epsom salt/sea salt, argon oil/jojoba oil/coconut oil...if it mattered which essential oil I used...and how I should adjust ratios based on what I want. This cleared that up for me. (^_^)/ Thanks
Love the videos! Definitely make sure to keep up with every upload, since I found this channel in early 2016. I know you have thick hair, but could do you a guide/recommend some products for dealing with unruly thinner hair?
I bought the Blumaan like a month ago, love it very much (so far it's my most favorite hair product! especially for the smell of it!) but i wish it could hold up longer through the day because i'm at work for 7 hours/day and my hair becomes kinda untexturized/less fluffy and not in shape after like 4 hours. i tried to put more of the product on my hair, combine w other product and even used hairspray but it just doesn't work. but anw thanks for your videos and product, you have our support! :)
One question. If i were to add a drop or two of peppermint extract will that be not enough, the perfect amount, or too much? It does seem pretty strong but then again there is a lot of spray so it probably won’t do a whole lot
great video! Im currently growing my hair out and was looking at trying out a sea salt spray (organic and non-toxic). Wasn't a lot of options out there so I thought "surely I could make my own. What does RUclips have?" So this is great! Question.. how many drops of essential oil would you recommend for how much you made in this video?
To make anything with essential oils, usually 3% all together. So if it's a 100ml bottle, 1ml of rosemary, 1ml tea tree oil, 1ml something else. Usually 20 drops is 1ml.
great product, my only issue is that i have found that the original smooth does tug a little bit during the application process but other than that i love it.

Or just put the salt into the water then the bottle…

Just as which salt is important, you should use distilled water vs. tap or well water. This will help it keep longer.
