- The singer/songerwriter of "For Love of You" talks about her musical influences, upbringing and personal challenges contributing to her debut album "The House You're Building." Exclusive interview with Randy Robison of LIFE TODAY TV.
I discovered Audrey Assad on Pandora. I absolutely love the music that she sings. My hope for her is that she will truly find and get to know about The God that she so beautifully sings about!!!!! And that he can help with the struggles that she has had to live with.
I love how Audrey was not afraid to end the interview with an important but misunderstood concept in Christianity, redemptive suffering. The apostle Paul said he took the suffering in his body and united it to Christ's for the sale of the body. Audrey clearly is expressing a teaching that has been in the Catholic faith since Paul wrote Colossians chapter 1.
America is blessed with the great talent of Audrey Assad.
I love, love, love Audrey. I hope to see her find great success in the future! Go Audrey!
On this Good Friday, the end of that was very timely, that "suffering is redemptive". Praise the Lamb who was slain!
She is such a lovely person God is going to use her for great things.
Suffering is redemptive. Right on!
LOVE this album even more hearing her talk about it 💙💙💜💙💙💙
LOVE this album 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
God bless you n God be with you Audrey,..
Love love love love love
Boom! "Suffering is redemptive." He was expecting a generic Christian answer and she dropped that bomb on him. She understands true beauty and has a wonderful spirituality.
(I say that from listening to her stuff. I don't know her personally but it is obvious through her music.)
8:24 yesssss joy and gratefulness is enhanced when contrasted with suffering and enduring with Christ by your side
Praying so hard for Audrey. Her music was so influential in my life. Especially “ House Your Building “ it touches my heart like no other. I pray she comes back to the God that she so beautiful proclaimed in her music. ❤

I know this is an old video but I am left pondering why two people, like her parents, can live together for over twenty plus years, but then say enough is enough and part ways. Anyway, neat interview.
My parent just divorced after 51 years of marriage, both Christian. It happens. Unlike Audrey thought, it did make me question God.
At 51 years of marriage, you might as well keep going!
