  • I am very glad that I was able to speak with singer and songwriter, ‪@AudreyAssad‬, about her experience with faith, trauma, and womanhood. Audrey shared with me how she experienced Christianity growing up, as well as what her thoughts on God are now. You will find Audrey's conversation with me vulnerable, honest, and personable.
Thank you, Audrey, for taking the time to talk with me!

But you are missing it, Audrey.
Minister to yourself by listening to your own music from 2016. Full of beautiful truth. I pray you hear His voice above the noise.

Audrey, just in case you see this:
I'm a 36 year old who, while not of a similar background, was brought back into the fullness of the Catholic faith via exploring mysticism.
The works of Maria Valtorta are what led my non-Catholic husband to begin practicing, and led to my reversion.
Coming to know Jesus through those visions and dictations helped work through some of the institutional/fear issues you mentioned. And He eventually led me back to being able to (and desiring to) receive the Sacraments ahain.
Feel free to reach out for more discussion. Praying for your journey. ❤

what is the point of the Holy Sacraments? What is sanctification? Are you "in" the catholic faith or a repentant servant of Jesus the Christ? Most within the church (all denominations) will be rejected by Him they call Lord. Matthew 7:21-23

Grace is the point of the Holy Sacraments. They are 7 fountains of grace that help us to grow in Love. And to be properly disposed toward that grace, yes, absolutely repentant service is necessary.

"For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, abideth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father; so he that eateth me, the same also shall live by me."
The Sacraments, and in a special way Penance and Eucharist, increase Christ's life within us (and that is what sanctification is).

Catholicism is just Paganism with the name Jesus slapped over it. Read your Bible and do your research please!! God bless you.

I see that the devil has been tormenting you all these years but because you did not understand you could not fight back. But know that Jesus has never left you and His arms are wide opened and ready to embrace you and set you free from your afflictions if you let Him. Also we are not animal, We are made in the image of God. God made us superior to ani. also even to angels. Bless

Audrey's conclusion is the result of going through the motions of traditionalism and not understanding the Holiness of God. When you come before a Holy God in worship and introduce commonality or humanism into it, His fire will indeed fall. Leviticus 10:1

    • @mckessonfamily7021
      @mckessonfamily7021 5 месяцев назад +1

Agreed. You have to encounter Jesus first -- religion/traditionalism is the response to that encounter.

@@mckessonfamily7021 there is nothing wrong with traditions if you understand why they exist and make them subject to the Holy Scriptures. If they are found to be extra-biblical or contra-biblical, they must be stopped or else we worship falsely and not in truth while subjecting ourselves to damnation from the God claimed to be worshiped. The ecclesia is not 'free' to worship God as we see fit or determine the modus operandi of coming into His presence. It must be done on His terms as laid out within the scriptures. I pray you walk by the spirit and are washed clean from the witchcraft you were involved in.

I disagree that the Catholic Church practices witchcraft in its Sacraments. Praying for unity among all Christians.
