I so appreciate Audrey’s transparency. It’s so brave to talk openly about all of these things knowing how close minded and judgmental churched folks can be when we unpack things to this level. It’s also so brave of her to be so open about her OCD and I relate so completely to the thoughts that tormented her as a child and an adult growing up in evangelical spaces and having OCD. It was a nightmare, truly and until recently I was still living that nightmare. Like Audrey I started to unpack the spiritual OCD, the fundamentalism of the churches I grew up in. The spiritual suppression, abuse and trauma. The mental & physical abuse I experienced at churches and it’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It makes me want to sob listening to her, because I feel less alone in what I’ve been through. Thank you for interviewing her and thank you Audrey for sharing your heart. You are a beautiful human. I was grateful for your music ten years ago and I’m still just as grateful for your voice now 💛

I love her. And I love how respectful this interview was compared to others I've seen with her. I think she might downplay what he did to her a little too much. Somehow when she tries to act casual about it, I hurt for her more. I think she's right though, that his intentions were not vicious, just excessively selfish. The media and legal people were also selfish with no regard for her. She probably wouldn't want me to feel sorry for her, but I do. Lighter note, I agree with her that getting to have a wild youth with some risk sounds so much more fun than modern life. I find her resilience inspiring. I'm a guy. But she is inspiring. So honest too ... can forgive some things but never managed to forgive others. She seems pretty happy now. She's earned it.

I agree with Samantha about the 70s and 80s being a different world , I had very strict parents and was not allowed to do anything ( no boyfriends) or partying , but I would have been out there in Hollywood trying to meet Fonzie and Cha Chie if I could , I lived in a southern state and was not allowed to be a 'Bad Girl" but if I could of been out there , and BTW there was a magazine going around back then called ' Sugar and Spice " normalizing sexual pictures of young teens , and I would of had no problem if I could have been on Happy Days , I was 13 and in 'love " with Henry Winkler , but my Dad was so strict I didnt even have a boyfriend til I was 20 no prom for me , but I did have some promiscuious cousins , they were having sex at 12 and 13 , I remember even then I thought Roman was pretty cute when they were showing all that stuff on the news

Thank you for this great personal interview that didn't dwell too much on the past. I have followed Jackie since AGT, purchased her albums and seen her live. I think it is hard for performers who are very young to be allowed to grow up by their fans. Jackie has matured and has been terribly candid about her life. Solla is a smash and it is great to see her be herself. Her album Debut got me through some times while Jackie struggled so desperately herself. Be yourself Jackie, because what your are is great.

Excellent interview and good questions. I heard some statistics I hadnt heard before, like the msg consumption per American. Interesting info about the physical reflecting the spiritual and being good stewards. I never really thought about the happiness or not of animlas affecting the food and our own helath on a cellular and biological level.

Ive always thought that the extra fluid that is pumped into the meat to increase weight and provide longer shelf life also affectsnot only cooking time, but the final product appearance and taste. Think pink pork chops instead of white or gray.

You are an outstanding, insightful interviewer. Your listening skills are quite remarkable. It was refreshing that you had actually listened to and experienced the songs on Jackie’s EP and were genuinely curious about some of the lyrics. Thank you for going so much more into depth in this interview because most interviews with Jackie dwell on her initial AGT experience which was over 13 years ago. You were more curious about what she's doing in the present and that made it so much more interesting. Great job, you have a great future ahead of you.

I have been a big Jackie fan from the beginning on AGT. As far as I know I have all of her albums from childhood and all of the recent stuff as well. Jackie is one of the most talented singers I have ever heard. I was pleased to see a new side of Jackie when she was "Kitty" on The masked singer. This was a very revealing interview and not the same old same old 5 or 10 minutes with the same old questions. Thank you for this interview. I hope that someday she may do a tour like she did as a child. I saw her when she was 16 and would love to see her today.

I guess that my original comment is gone forever. I just wanted to say that this is the best interview that I've seen of Jackie. Your questions were interesting and allowed me to know her a little more. Most interviews seem to ask the same old questions, but it seemed as though she was able to relax and be more open with you, plus have some fun. Jackie, if you ever read this, just keep being your wonderful and beautiful imperfect and unique self in all of it's perfection. You are a beautiful, gorgeous soul with a lot more to share with the world through your art and singing. BTW your nose has NEVER been big, its lovely, and loving a nice juicy steak is totally okay.
