Matt just showed us the best way to install the tint on side window. Every move he made is very logical and i also have learned something new from you today! Amazing job, well done!
Thanks for the video I did my first tint and I would say I did decent but I had a lil run when tucking it in to the bottom and watching this made me realize what I can do next time to make it easier and smoother
Nope, all cars have a built in drainage anyway when u roll down the window after it's been raining or while it's raining, but yes always be careful not to spray so much
Hello, Matt! You can also use the scotch tape at the top corner of the tint to separate the liner from the film. Much easier and faster and you can grap the tape instead of the film to avoid leaving the dirt from your finger.
Love this method… but what about something like an Lexus IS which has speakers in the way. Do we have to remove door card? I know the whole point is not to but I don’t see how I can smoothly lay out the film on that specific car. Any tips?
I found this way out without watching this video. Seeing a champion window tinter using these two steps for installation when sliding the tint into the pillar post and the front mirror makes me feel like a great tinter. I know he or no one will believe me but thank you sir and thank you God for helping me to become a great tinter bless you sir
@@Anonymous_________ appreciate the advice. I've been learning how to incorporate heat gun and a small torch to close up those small fingers at the bottom. I've also been shrinking all my windows prior to installing. That's helped out alot!
I keep getting fingers that keep coming back in my tint! It’s all over. Top, sides, and bottom. I don’t know how to get rid of them. They just always come back even after heating. Any idea what could be causing this?
@@dsquared7059 I found out my solution to it, after spending countless time, HEAT SHRINK THE HELL OUT OF IT. I recommend a felt card for shrinking as it seems to minimize creases.
You can get that at any hardware store like home depot with a paint section, look for where drop cloths are and there should be rolls of that kinda plastic meant for masking, as for sticking, I'd use regular clear tape, anything with low adhesiveness that wont leave a residue will work
Hey brodie I’m a tinter too and do you have any tips on installing back windows with thick defrosters (chargers, older Mercedes, etc)? I tried to have the defrosters on but I’m not sure if I should have them on the whole time or after the installion? Any tips
@@punktalley it’s a double 00 steel wool and you have to keep the steel wool and the BBC window very wet I don’t use it for every car just ones with very thick defrosters
00 steel wool will scratch the glass. 0000 steel wool would be better option if you are going too use steel wool. I would recommend 3m white scuff pads. No scratching. But use the method Matt posted bout cause you taking away the defroster lines is killing the life of them. Might not cause them to quit working right away but kill them in 6 months to a year. Some of these back glasses are expensive like $1500-2000. Better be careful or one screw up take your entire profits.
I don’t get it I’ve been practicing for almost a year now.. I still can’t get it. It’s like I’m progressively getting worse. Idk if it’s the film I’m using or the window I’m practicing on is too hard
I hate using.JUST.water, when applying tint, when u add dish soap it lets u slide the tint around n get it where u want it to, but I you use TOO much soap, you'll give the tint a smoke look
Videos don't do it justice you gonna have to try it out yourself no matter how many hours of videos you watch I promise your just gonna have to spend what it costs to have someone else do it it film bc your gonna have to keep redoing it to get right by all means good fucking luck

Love the bite on the film ! Tell me ya learned from ya pops without telling me ! Keep it up !
Watched a few videos on tint and this was absolutely the best tutorial I’ve seen. I think I’m ready to do my windows!
Tint studio is the go to channel for window tinting! Best RUclips channel by far and makes me a Hella lot of money

im waiting my next tint course in April . Cant wait so exciting
Want to learn to tint windows. Whats the best way? Hands on school? Online program or just by yourself?
Beautifully done and Explained Matt🔥🙌❤️
Question what is that you are using for your door panel protection
Best video by far and I’ve seen lots of them thanks so much. You should do back windows :D
Main thing to remember is your slip solution. Like Matt said you don't wanna fight but slide your film and leave it flat on the glass
You the man. I learned so much thanks brother.. great video.. straight to the point
Nicely done as always. I was just worried about spraying to much, can that cause any internal damage fort he electric window system?

Was this done without any shrinking?
That's what I was wondering
Matt showed me that it's best to get tints done by a professional... I'll have a go at most things as well
Hello, Matt! You can also use the scotch tape at the top corner of the tint to separate the liner from the film. Much easier and faster and you can grap the tape instead of the film to avoid leaving the dirt from your finger.
Wouldn’t the tape be attached to the liner that’s discarded? You’d still have to touch the adhesive side when transporting it, no?
What brand of tint are you using? My film never comes off that clean and causes creases when applying
Can you swipe the edges from bottom to top also?

The tint Gods 💪🏽
The plastic cover panel where you get it? Or where I can buy it?
I would definitely hire you just on the fact that you cover door panels from the water and excellent job also.
He’s doing that mostly to protect the tint from the door panels 🧑🌾👺🐮👩⚕️🐙
Thanks Man always been very helpful, good content 🙏
Hey whats going on man. I was wondering what are those clear door protectors are called?
Wat about initial cutting on a car with non inset rain guards
yes that be a nice video to watch.
you have to shrink it first right??
Awesome video keep it up, soon I'm gonna start tint, hope it go welll
I love this vid I’m going to try self team myself from your video
I've never top loaded I just remove panels on my vehicles. I will give this a try on the next one I do.
@Tint Studio what’s that plastic roll called that you put on the inside of the door to avoid contamination
Thank you teacher.

I learn your way from your videos . I don’t like taking parts out .
Let talk about scratching the film with a orange crush or a tri edge and what's the best way to avoid it I think it really important for all tinters
I've been having issues with not getting small fingers at the bottom of the glass by the gaskets. Could ya make a video if you have a solution for it?
Use a heat gun. It's a very simple fix, unless out got dirt, or left over soap water.

What is the material you’re using on door panels? That looks like it would really come in handy for keeping them dry
Rug plastic. Or carpet plastic. I forget. We use it at Porsche as well
Carpet shield. I use crash wrap but I'm thinking he is using carpet shield.
Yes. This is what I want to know too. What is the covering on the door?

You did not preshrink all your side windows?
3:50. Master that portion and the next couple minutes and you’ll be good
How do you figure which side windows you should heat shrink?
The window basically will tell you.. if fingers show up I assume you gotta shrink them out..
