Great effing review! I asked for a comparison of scooters with swappable batteries and they gave me exactly what I wanted while giving me even more options for my commute!! Forever loyal to this channel!
Great review of a quality entry level scooter. One often overlooked advantage to having the battery attached to (or within) the tiller is improved water resistance (when riding through puddles). There's still the issue of potential water damage to the motor, but it's usually sealed up pretty well. On a scooter with average water resistance and a battery in the DECK, the odds of potential water damage from traversing large puddles is much greater. The only real issue with having the battery attached to the tiller is getting accustomed to having a front-heavy ride. You've got to be careful when stopping quicky. Shift your weight to the back! When a battery is detachable there's always a potential for loose or worn battery connections from frequent detaching / attaching. Be sure to treat your battery gently. Having an option of multiple, easily swappable batteries is quite nice, and so is the lock feature (something every scooter with a removable battery should have). Q. How long to charge? Q. Can you charge the battery on its own ( separately from the scooter ) ? Pneumatic tubed tires are always preferable to solid tires if a comfortable ride is important. Especially on scooters without suspension. Changing tubes is a fact of life for many riders. Thankfully it isn't as difficult on 10" wheels as it is on 8.5". The handlebars on this scooter are indeed problematic if a person wants to feel fully comfortable while riding. It's similar to the feeling on an old Ninebot es series. Forget about brief one handed riding. Don't try to itch your nose, or you might end up crashing. There are very similar varieties of this design by other manufacturers. If a person does their research it's sometimes possible to find an even better deal on one of the off-brand clone releases (possibly with an extra battery included). Of course you may not get the same customer support or warranty, etc. Also, be certain to compare motor and battery specs. I've noticed that ESG always offers the same scooters as possible alternate choices. Let me recommend one of my own that you've never reviewed: The Wheelspeed WS1 PRO (available on Amazon). Also known as the X1 PRO via Walmart. It's usually on sale for around $400-$450 (a coupon is always available on Amazon), has a 400w motor and 37V 536.5Wh battery (14.5ah). It's a high ranking seller on Amazon with mostly positive reviews. Not a perfect scooter by any means, but a much more stable and comfortable ride in many ways. Real world range of 14-18 miles. I recommend that ESG offer a review. Every scooter has its pros and cons. I think the biggest "pro" on the Turboant is the swappable battery. However, once you add the cost of a second battery, a person may wish they had simply bought a scooter with longer range to begin with. Still, it's always nice to see more budget options and reviews on ESG. Not everyone needs or wants a $2k+ scooter. Again, very good review.
You can custom install on the handle bar a NOSE SCRATCH BAR.🎉😂. Having a front heavy scooter improves traction & braking on the front. The second battery will give you extra hill climbing & distance when the first battery gets too low!!!😊 For some of us ,it's a big plus.🤑.A front battery gives extra benefits. Ride safe & healthy.
Chose these specifically for the removable battery to ease long reach loading and unloading into the back cargo area of our small airplane. Made easier with battery removed and stowed separately. Rather than spend twice as much for a lightweight carbon frame and stem, we bought these and just remove the battery when we load and unload it. The potential for range extension with an extra battery is a bonus.
I have this one it's actually a great scooter for the price. Love going around town with it. bought an extra battery for more fun tops only at 20 mph but faster than a bicycle. Range is accurate with two batteries 36 miles is good to have fun with it.
Hey have you already tested teverun scooters? So many people are talking about them, they also have a smaller dualmotor model called teverun blade mini pro, I'm still hesitating of buying a vsett 9+ or a blade mini pro.
Hello, do you have any recommendations for a scooter under $300? I just need something to get to work and back downtown, about 2 miles of scootering per day on flat road. Need something light, smaller, and simple. Thanks
I'm a truck driver looking for good scooter for distance but it has to be foldable. How can I message you with my "requirements" and to get your recommendations?
This would be a good scooter for a wood instead of metal deck. Lightweight, while providing suspension, without adding weight of actual suspension. Why don’t scooters that don’t have floor mounted batteries have skateboard style decks?
That’s an interesting idea. Usually they need the metal deck because the battery is so big and needs a solid (non flammable) place to mount to. But here, since the battery is in the stem, they could technically do it. The problem is the stem would come back and whack you in the chest when you bounce, and it would also change the geometry (steering head angle) of the scooter. -Paul
I wanna get a scooter I live in Canada and can pay 1.2k cad for one I liked the x7 but in terms other then the battery would you say the gotrax g4 is better and what scooters in that price range would you says is the best I could get
@Rider Guide (form. ESG) ok thanks in that case even tho I like the swappable battery for the town area I live in and I would use it for work and such I think the g4 is best bet due to it having the extra security and decent battery life and speed
Yo ESG im trying to buy a scoter that is called joyor 10-s and i really dont know if i shouls buy it , canyou review it or give me advice for super fast scooter for less than 1100 usd ? 😭
Hope it's better than the X7 Pro That is the most underpowered worst range scooter you can lay your hands on, I wasted money on two of them and an upgrade battery 😢
Let us know what you think of the X7 Max in the comments below!

Hello! Can you charge the battery separately?
I have this one with a 450 watt engine and a 460 wh (48V) battery. I love it :)
Awesome! Glad to hear. -Vosk
I love rk9 rides! So happy he is a part of your team.
We are very happy Mitchell is here! -Vosk
Coming from a wide wheel pro and a wolf warrior x , on these cheaper single motor scooters what is better ? Rear motor or front motor ?
My opinion: rear motor. The front wheel steers and the rear wheel provides the power.
They are all different! Many are front
Reminds me a lot of my first electric scooter, the Xiaomi M365, probably the same manufacturer.
Thanks for stopping by! -Vosk
Hello! What do you think about the ZERO 8? I think its a solid electric scooter.
It’s a decent scooter but it’s outdated!

Gotrax might have something around $300!
Just ordered one you think it was a good choice for a daily work commute of 10miles total
Yes it’s a good starter/mid level scooter. -Vosk
Is there a considerable difference between X7 Max and X7 Pro?
Minor differences!

Always a pleasure speaking with you, Paul! I I can always count on you for insightful responses! Take care! 😉👍🏽
A bike helmet and not going to Highway fe are enough to ride a scooter in Ontario, right?
Yes you should be okay! Just be alert. -Vosk
was able to find the same scooter for cheaper from $525 CAD from Reyth scooters, they ship out from Vancouver BC,
That’s awesome! Enjoy your new ride. -Vosk

Gotrax G4 is a solid scooter! Both are good choices to be honest.

I have that scooter and it is quite trashy lmao I upgraded to an Apollo City Pro 22 and wow the X7 Pro really is a toy

If possible, could you review the Dualtron Spider 2 and Dualtron Luxury Plus?
We will take a look! Thank You. -Vosk
Tube tires is fine. But solid rims instead of split rims? That's a big no.
Agreed!

I have this scooter and it's good especially where I live..but I am looking to get a better scooter that's faster

can you please review the Varla eagle one. not the pro
That’s an older scooter! We are trying to review the newer ones. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide they have a sale going on right now for $1350. Is it better than others at that price range
can you please review the kugoo kirin g2 pro?
We will take a look! Thank You -Vosk
I've had one and it's quite good
I've upgraded to the
Kaabo warrior X pro 😀
can u review e scooter sealup xlp q13? tq
No plans in the future! -Vosk
Dealing with tubeless tires is almost not worth it. You will get punctures and leaks…which is what’s happened to my rare tire…
Yes tubes are much easier to change for sure! -Vosk
I prefer walking rather than riding a scooter at 6 mph 😂 Eco should be at least 10mph
Noted! Thanks for stopping by!
mine goes 20mph
How long have you had it?
10 inch solid tires would have been better
Yes for sure!
Pneumatic tires instead of solid tires? I'll pass.
Thanks for the feedback! -Vosk
RK9rides? is that you?
He’s ours now! Kidding, he still has his own channel, but he’s also a permanent part of ESG! Now we can review waaaaay more scooters! -Paul
Very low mileage. Handlebar battery mount is not worth it
Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
I miss Chuck ☹️
I think I remember them saying he's just in the background..speaks and writing books...maybe fact check me tho
We also miss him! -Vosk
350W isn't a lot. Save your money, there are better scooters out there.
Many options for sure! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
mediocre scooter.
The battery feature makes it unique! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Top heavy, i bet the scooter is easy to tip over when on kickstand.
