I actually bought a 2013 Xterra pro 4X and my wife and I did 2 camping trips in it and finally decided to build a small teardrop camping trailer to pull with the Xterra.
Ihave a 2010 xterra, she's been a darn good one. Just over 360k, few issues air is still cold. My only complaint is the seats are Very uncomfortable. You have my respect doing the turkey trips and sleeping in it.
Yeah, who designed those head rests, they are terrible. The back seats are bad, but the backseats in the Jeep Wrangler we test drove back in 2012 were worse. No SMOD for your X? I think it was fixed in 2010 or 11.
Impressive setup in terms of how long you stay on the road and having workout gear in there too. I've turkey hunted and slept in a 2WD Ranger (w/camper shell), a Subaru Forester, and now an older Jeep Grand Cherokee. My setup is much more minimalistic but I only usually spend 1-3 nights in there and drive home when I bag a bird since I'm hunting in my home state, often just a couple of hours from the house.
Thank you for watching. I usually get off track with the workouts at some in the season. It's never too long of a stretch though and I get back on it. I usually split it up into two workouts and if I can do the two every week, it's good enough for maintenance.
I got a towstrap and shackle for the tow hitch, but a shovel, bow saw/axe/hatchet and a comealong would be ideal. A shovel is real handy. @@Redneckinahat

She is a little short on space, wish the X was more the size of the 2010 Pathfinder

I am so glad you keep your pee in the car. What happens if it over flows. Lol😂
or I miss…I have temporarily misplaced the cap and have to find it in the middle of the night
Hahahaha😂
I’d add off road gear like a shovel, comealong, and tow rope up on top. For just in case you make a bad decision.
