The 6 speed version would be sweet, jealous. The xterra/frontier have a bunch on the used market with high miles. Tells me the drivetrain should last a long time. Hoping I can get near what you’ve gotten(300,000 miles for the metric challenged😀)
I have the same vehicle I put Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts on and lifted it 1 and half inches in the front and got a 1 and 1/2 inch shackle lift for the rear if you go any higher with your lift get different upper control arms or they will hit your strut bucket when your wheel drops into a hole
That is good to know, are used a shackle on baby snowflake, I think I will do an add-a-leaf on Blaze if I lift it. The rear end seems to sag when loaded.
Just found you RGO; that's a clean looking 2012. Don't see that many in Lava Red here in Colorado. Have a 2015 Super Black PRO-4X (6MT) with 7K miles on it; trying to keep it around now as a 'lifetime' vehicle. No longer want to buy 'anything' new. Have a roof storage basket on mine too. Still have my 06 Frontier SE Crew 4x4 (6MT) also; only 64K on it...
@@RegularGuysOutdoors Not that much since no longer commuting; had been putting most of my miles on my cars, was saving these two for long term retirement vehicles. Some situations the auto is preferred; I just have always liked driving MTs...
I calculate mileage every fill-up and my vehicle mpg gage is spot on until I start using 4wd more(getting worse mileage) . I imagine large swings in fuel consumption will cause the vehicle mph gage to be inaccurate unless you reset it more often. I have a Lava Red '12 Pro4x as well but I sure am envious of your low miles, I'm at 130k miles.
I have to admit, I look at the forerunners with envy. They look like they would have just the extra interior length that I would prefer. I sleep in my vehicles a lot, so the distance between the tailgate and the front seats mean a bunch to me. But, turning a profit in purchasing a vehicle that is probably cheaper, would be hard to pass too.
We’ve had it since new in 2012. It’s been reliable, but I am only at 91k miles so far. I like the simple dash, not a lot of bells and whistles, which suits me fine. I like the selectable locking rear diff, good power, and decent mpg( I just relaced the spark plugs and am getting a little better mpg). I talked about the things I dislike in the video.
I do like it a bunch. Do wish it was a little longer for better sleeping/getting dressed. Check this out for the update: ruclips.net/video/QsxEbARCY9w/видео.html
Welcome to the channel young Blaze, nice to meet you
Salute to Blaze!! Turkey Tour 21 bound good luck Blaze
Ive got 500,000 kms on mine 6sp. Standard 05 runs great still off road.

Mama must have gotten a NEW truck :)
The small actionpackers fit perfectly behind the seats for sleeping purposes.
Is that the 8 gallon one? It could change my modus operandi.
@@RegularGuysOutdoors, yup. Here's a link to some pics. amp.reddit.com/r/XTerra/comments/cule4m/8_gallon_action_packers_do_a_good_job_adding/

I love the lack of tech in these vehicles. I wish I had the MT sometimes. Man yoy mist not drive much, great low miles.
Blaze now has 134k on her😄

I have a 2012 Xterra Pro4x as well. Good video but the Baby Snowflake reference was said too many times!
Mine is a 2008 Black one I call her "BLADE"
How many miles you got on her so far, I’m at 132,000 now.
@@RegularGuysOutdoors Am in Canada and we go by Km its 320,000 now but still a smooth ride.
@@selamtube-2157 That's a bunch of km's, about 190k miles.

I am about to break 86k now. Is there any maintenance to do in that 130k mileage range?
My speedo got as far off as .8 mpg from manual calculations vs the dash. I lost track when I killed the battery.
Just found a 2012 Pro 4X with 39K miles and am thinking of trading my TRD Pro 4 Runner because they are offering more than I paid for it.

Don’t get her dirty. Before I come out you need to have her detailed. I expect perfection grasshopper.
You’ll be lucky to have a seat inside with as much stuff as we bring.😁
