@@JCNeylan There is a lot of crown land in B.C. and a lot of dead trees, this won't stop until all that standing dead is gone. yes arson is a big part too, but having dead trees makes these fires travel that much quicker.

A lot of wildfires used to be attacked quickly and efficiently by nearby logging crews. They had the equipment, manpower, and experience to fight fires when and where they started. But now, with severe logging restrictions and outright bans, those resources are no longer there.
