    Hello again 😇. I just watched your vlog on when to visit. Im looking at the 1st 2 weeks in april 2025..when did the cherry blossoms arrive this year?not sure if i should change my date's.

    • @Korea_expert
      @Korea_expert  7 месяцев назад

      Hello Carlo, good to see u again:)
      Thanks for watching my video and as for your question, the cherry blossoms arrived at the end of March this year and lasted through the first week of April. But in 2023, it almost ended during the last week of March, so if you can, I suggest you change your travel date a bit. If you can come at the end of March,there will be cherry blossoms everywhere:) So just a week earlier than your initial schedule would be very nice:)!

    • @Korea_expert
      @Korea_expert  4 месяца назад

      Hello:) thanks for watching and I am glad that you liked my video 😊😊
      The weather is getting warm every year in Korea and usually, autumn foliage lasts till the middle of Nov, but due to the global warming, you may see fall foliage around that time in some parts of Seoul and the metropolitan area. The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea in Gwacheon near Seoul, subway line 4, is a good place to see late fall foilage since it is the place where fall foliage lasts long:)!

      @Korea_expert  3 месяца назад

      Hello:) nice to see you and thank for leaving a comment! So you are coming to Korea when the weather will be perfect! As for fall foliage, oct 14 to 20 may be too early for that😭 since it usually starts at the end of Oct.

    • @Korea_expert
      @Korea_expert  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, again:) sorry for late reply! It is not a big difference since Korea is not that big but Jeju Island would be a bit warmer in general and more humid in the summer🤗!

    We are going there the second half of October. Hoping for lots of fall color. We will go to Seoul, Busan and Jeju. What do you think? Any help with using transportation card within Korea?

    • @Korea_expert
      @Korea_expert  6 месяцев назад

      Oh you are coming in October:) It would be very beautiful around that time of year. How long will you be here?^^ You will get to see fall foliage at the end of October for sure. In some parts of the country, it starts around Oct.20 something ^^!
      You will love Jeju and Busan as the weather will be perfect! If you buy a T money card, the transportation card, at any convenience store, you will be able to use it in Busan and Jeju! Charge the card with enough money as the buses can be more expensive in Jeju:)!

      @@Korea_expert we will be there the 15-30 of Oct. should I wear lightweight sweaters in the day? Do taxis accept T card or is credit card best for them?

    • @Korea_expert
      @Korea_expert  6 месяцев назад

      Hi, again🤗 yes you can definately wear lightweight sweaters in the day~ and taxi drivers like T money card because it is like cash for them and they do not have to pay the commission they pay to credit card companies 🌞 So you can use both t card and credit card! Also cash is accepted as well!

      So you are coming in October and December as well??~^^ The weather is not as cold as it used to be due to global warming ~ but we do have winter activities other than the Christmas decorations. You can do skating at the Seoul City Plaza and if you like ski, you can go to ski resorts in the outskirts of Seoul:) !

    • @Korea_expert
      @Korea_expert  7 месяцев назад

      Hello:) good to see you again. Of course you can visit all the palaces in Seoul. I am sorry I scared you off with the summer weather. The weather can be hot but it is a perfect time to visit Sokcho. A lot of people will go to enjoy the ocean around that time. Sokcho and Gangneung are good and I recommend Samcheok as well. It is next to Sokcho and will be less crowded and has great ocean trails and a cable car from which you can overlook the sea:).And waterparks are good as well. Caribbean Bay in the Everland is the most famous one:)
