Many Americans carry toothbrushes and toothpaste with them and brush after meals. I have seen many co-workers brushing in the bathroom.
Also, many Americans also wash their hair everyday.
It is kind of interesting that Koreans like to ask a lot of questions deemed “personal” by many foreigners, but somehow education background is the one avoided instead.
Hello~ nice to see you and thank you for your comment:) I understand what you mean~ Thanks for watching and hope to see you again!
Thanks!
I can't thank you enough 😍😍
Hello 😇 Wow, what an amazing history lesson. These temples are stunning, and now that you recommend them, I definitely have to check them out.Thank you for another great video. @@Korea_expert We did visit Dosonsa on the same day we climbed Baekundae!
Thank you for your video, it's very informative. I already have t-money card from my previous visit, long time ago before covid. I hope I will still able to use it. And since I'm only will travel within Seoul I think Climate card will be usefull for me. If I use the 7 days package it will only cost 23.000 won including initial cost of the card. Per day I will only need to take subway or bus 2 times to make it economical. While I'm planing to use it on last day to travel to Incheon Terminal, so it will very cheap overall ^__^
Hello^^ good to see you! I am glad you found my video very informative:) You can use your T money card because it doesn't expire but the balance will expire after 5 years. Do you have balance left on your card? Nonetheless, you can use your T money card when you come back:) Yes, if you are mainly in Seoul, climate card is good and as you said, if you take public transportation 2 times a day, it is more economical ^^ Thanks for watching and leaving me a comment! See you😍
is the climate card also free to transfer? example i ride the subway line 1 then transfer to line 4 to go to my destination?
Hello, nice to see you and thanks for your comment! Yes you can do free transfers with climate cards:) as long as you do not transfer to Sinbundang line. All other major lines from 1 to 9 and Gyeongui-Jungang line are transferable:)
Yr video is very informative. May I know if tourists like us can visit any of the Korea university and walk around the campus? Also, can tourists go to the uni canteen to try their food ?
Hello:) nice to see you 😊 I am glad you found my content informative! Yes, you can visit any of university campuses in Korea any time. And you can dine at uni canteens. There are kiosks near the entrance to the canteen where you can pay for your meals :) In Seoul, Yonsei university and Kyunghee university are said to have beautiful campuses^^!
Yes we can, I've visited Ehwa, Sungkyungkwan, and Kyunghee Uni before
Yr video is very informative. May I know if tourists like us can visit any of the Korea university and walk around the campus? Also, can tourists go to the uni canteen to try their food ?

The trip was exhilarating! I went to Seoul, Gyeongju, and Busan! So much to do and see and not enough time. I enjoyed the food, the culture and the people. I will definitely be back soon. Ideas for videos... your top 10 favorite unique cafes, or kdrama spots, or palaces. I know the most popular isn't always the best....there are hidden gems. You'll definitely see me on here. As soon as your videos post I'm watching them. It's a great way to stay connected to the culture. Plus, you are charming and the unique way you deliver it, sets you apart from the rest. You are the Best! God Bless.
Hello again, 😇 wait, I didn't see any wingsYou must have moved up to a higher ower 😊.OK, the climate card is not for me because as you know I'll be there 2 weeks in different cities. 1 question I've been looking into WOWPASS, which has a t-money card built in. I heard they integrated the wowpass to transfer funds to embedded t-money.Do you think this is better for us. Thank you as always, Angel 😇 PS 132 days left😊😊
Hi, Carlo~~^^ very good to see you again. I knew you would come and leave a messge for me haha😍😍 You noticed I had lost my wings😭😭 I had a person who was helping me with the editing and all, and now she has quit editing due to her busy schedule haha and I am doing everything including editing on my own. She used to help me to put the wings on my back and now that I am filming alone, it is hard to put wings on my back by myself haha. It doesn't stay there. Let's say that I just moved up to a higher rank 🥰🥰 As for wowpass, I think getting t money separately can be better~ You need to find wowpass machines when needed and it is usually in some of the subway stations and in some hotels, but it could be a hassle to find one. And korean shops accept credit card everywhere and it may be better to get a credit card that has a low commission fee on exchange rate and use it in Korea. There gotta be traveler- friendly credit cards that can be issued in the US:) I checked the exchange rate of wowpass and local banks here and it is the same. So when you need to exchange dollars for korean money, won, you can go into any bank in korea with your passport and will get the money right away. But in most cases, you can just use credit cards:) Let me know any time if you have any questions!^^ Now 131 days left😍😍!
Thank you for the advice and time you took to check out all that information.wings or no wings, you're still an angel to me 🎉😊
I am honored to be your angel 💕💕 with wings or without wings^^!
So helpful! My cousin stayed in Korea for a year or so in 2022 and he used T money cards because they were so convenient and accessible all over Korea. He just used to recharge it with 40-50,000 won at a time so there were no worries of even recharging it frequently. I also plan to use t money cards when I come to Korea because I want to explore the Korean countryside and take many day-trips! Also, unnie your new set up looks so relaxed and calm. It's a very refreshing new change. And your hair color looks beautiful in this lighting too! See you nest year in Korea!
Hello:) good to see yoy again! I remember you! You are moving to Incheon next year!! Are you excited about moving to Korea?~^^ Yes, t money card will be good for you:) It is really convenient and reasonable ^^ When are you coming to Korea exactly ~? ^^ I am excited for you😍😍 And thanks for your compliment on my hair color and the new setting! I just filmed it at home haha:) It is good that it looked good! See you soon:)!
We loved the T money card. One time it didn’t work but when we pushed the help button at the subway a person came right away and made it work. They were very nice. It took no time to get a refund at the CU in Incheon airport. Transport prices are very reasonable I think. Thank you for all of the great information. You always do a wonderful job!
Thank you, Deborah ^^ for watching as soon as the video is up and for leaving me comments all the time!😍 I love T money card and the transportation system. It is good that you used it well and got refunds fine from convenience stores 👌 Thanks again for watching 😍
I am so glad you chose this topic! We just returned from our vacation in Seoul, and there were some things that we learned about using transportation cards. First, we decided not to use Climate cards. The T Money Card is what we prefer, because it's basically a pre-paid debit card used for transportation. The machines used to recharge the cards are very easy to use once you get the hang of it, and you can select English to guide you. OK, HERE"S WHAT WAS IMPORTANT: There were 4 members of my family in the group, and we rode the subway maybe 50 times. We had problems! There were times when a card would not work! When one card had an error, it would stop our entire group. We decided that we would purchase one additional "backup" card. It was worth it to have a 5th card with like 15,000 Won. We ended up using it several times! It helped us when we had a card error, or when one of our cards ran out of money (my kids started using the subway by themselves during the vacation). Carry one extra if you have a group! Also, I once accidently washed my TMoney card in the laundry 🤣. It still worked after it dried out! One more thing: We rode the "Express" train from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station. Very convenient! However, when we returned to the airport at the end of the vacation, I did not reserve Express train tickets, and the Express train was sold out! We had to ride the "All Stop" train. It was difficult to stand up for the 50 minute trip. THANK YOU!
Hello:) Nathan~ good to sed you again!! Thanks for watching my video again and sharing your story😍 I am glad you liked T money cards:) I wonder how come there was an error and it stopped all of your family memebers' cards🤢🥵 Each of you was using a separate card, right? I am glad somebody helped you with that! It is such a great idea to carry an extra one :) And you shared great tips haha! Now we know that we can put t money cards in the laundry and they can survive🤣🤣 That is cute! Haha As for express trains, viewers will now know that it is better to book in advance. Yes it can be so difficult to stand up for 50 minutes with your baggage. Thanks and see you again😍😍!
@Korea_expert what I mean was, 3 of us got through the gate and the 4th person BONG! Card had an error and now 3 of us on one side, and one person stuck, with massive numbers of people coming through. Thank you for your outstanding videos 😃😃😃
The first one we do to in Colombia. About the second one, if you wash your hair everyday, it would be producing much more grease and the scalp produces as much grease as much as you wash it and it's going to smell more. Each person gets used to something specific and that's the way their body works.
Hello:) thanks for your comment and good to see you! You are in Colombia😍😍. Thanks for watching and sharing your story!! Hope to see you again^^!
My flight land at 5 in the morning. Will there be alot of taxi at the airport?
Hello:) nice to see you! Yes there will be taxis in the early morning and you can call taxis using kakaotaxi app:) any time. There will be taxis all the time. Thanks for coming and hope to see you again!😍
Is Mapo a good location with easy access to all of the areas you mentioned? Thks
Hello, thanks for coming:) Yes Mapo is a good location to move around. Especially Gongdeok-dong in Mapo has a very good transportation connection so it will be very convenient to take different subway lines.
@ thks
When you are around Myeongdong and bought some food, only throw your garbage at the stall you bought from. I once threw my garbage at someone else's stall and the owner took my trash and threw it on the floor. It was a rude experience but I humbly picked it up and went all the way back to the stall I bought my food to throw my litter.
Hello, thanks for leaving me another comment! Oh no, I am sorry to hear you had that experience in Myeongdong. It is really rude and it could have ruied your day. I hope you have good memories from Korea although you had an unpleasant experience. Thanks for sharing your story and hope to see u again:)
Between T Money and Wowpass, which is better?
Hello, thanks for coming and leaving me a comment! T money will be better and more convenient, I think as it may be a hassle to look for machines to top up wow pass:)!

Thank
Hello :).thank you for your comment! Hope to see you again^^!
thank you for the advice!
Hello~~nice to see you:) and I appreciate your comment 😍! Hope to see you again!
Honestly, you’re hygiene doesn’t matter to me at all. I love Korean food. I love the culture and I love the language, but your hygiene is your personal and Americans don’t care about others hygiene habits. To be honest.
Just got back from our 10-day vacation in Seoul. We ended up staying in a VRBO-style apartment in N. Seoul, very close to BukHanSan National Park. It was a bargain, but not close to downtown. From Seoul Station, it was about 50 minutes by subway with one transfer. I was fine with that to be staying close to the mountains. We did the hike to Baekundae practically from the apartment we stayed in!
Hi, Nathan~^^ so you are back home! I was wondering how your trip was. I love the Bukhansan area. The scenery is good, right? Yes, it may be hard to get there by public transportation but it seems you and your family had a good time! I remember your first comment on your taxi experience in the past. I had just started my RUclips back then and your comment was very appreciated 🥰🤩😍! I wish to see you again although your trip to Korea is over this time:) Thank you so much and hope you are coming back to Korea someday💓
Hello again, #Angel 😇.Of course, another great video.I did all my hotel planning around places we wanted to see.We settled on the Orakai suites in Insadong (5 nights)and the Amanti hotel in Hongdae(3 nights). How did we do in your opinion 😀. Only 155 days to check in😂.Thank you for pointing out "more" places to see😊.Again thank you for all do for the traveler.
Hello, Carlo ^^ I was expecting you and here you are again😍😍 Thanks for your comment^^! I did look for Orakai and Amanti hotel and the location is great and the rooms look big and clean! I remember you asked where you should book your hotel for the last three days in Seoul and you booked your hotel as I suggested 😍🤩 Thank you so much for that ^^! And 155 more days!! And as always I will be there for you for your trip!!
Thank you, 😇 @Korea_expert
Just arrived back home from our 2 week trip to Seoul. Your videos were such a great help. We had a wonderful time and wished our trip was longer there were more things we wanted to do! 😊

@Korea_expert Hi we live in California. Two of my daughters, her friend and her parents visited Korea so there were six of us. It was so memorable, I really loved renting the Hanbok & going to the Palace. Also one of my favorite was my tour to Jang Geum park 😄. Hopefully I will be able to see Korea again.
Oh u are from California:) We have many visitors from California! ^^ OH a big group of 6! I hope everything was all right when you were here and I am glad you enjoyed dae jang geum park!^^ Are you good at cooking 😍? Haha me? No haha^^ It has been good talking to you! Hope to see you again ^^!
Korean Guardian Angel - you are the best! You give great advice and recommendations. I wish we had more time in Seoul. There is so much to see and do in this great city. The people are so nice and friendly and we have never felt so safe. Not to mention the wonderful food. Thank you for all of your help. We will see you again either in Seoul or California!!! 😘
Hello, Deborah ^^ How was your Sunday in Seoul? I hope you had a great time here. I wish I could have spent more time with you in Seoul! 😍😍 Hope to see you again in California or Seoul or wherever ^^! Hope you will have a wonderful time in Busan and Jeju!
Oh this is my place ❤ I am quite obsess, more because I have to smell my hair good or if I sat in some pubblic I feel like I get dirty❤ I don't drink tap water either, even if is safe, I don't know, so allways from bottles. Teeth are suppose to clean at least 3 times a day
Hello, nice to see you and thank you for your comment 👍 ^^! Hope to see you again 😊!
Many Koreans do not wash their hands after toilet even they took a sh!t 🤮 and the spitting thing that a lot of them do, is just disgusting....
Thank you for this video! Your videos are really helpful since i am coming to Seoul in 6 days. I was wondering if they provide fork in korean restaurants since I am really bad with chopsticks and i am glad they do when requested. What about in traditional markets? Would it be just chopstick? 🤔
Hello~^^ nice to see u and thanks for your comment! Most restaurants will have forks so of course, you can ask for them. And as for traditional markets, some of the restaurants may not have forks so I suggest you may carry disposable forks for one-time use in your bag:) You can get them at convenience stores or supermarkets^^!
Hello. Do the staffs at the airport speak English?
Hello^^ thanks for your comment! yes, most of them speak English^^!
Thank you so much for the travel trips😊 I will be travelling to Korea few months later and this is my first time to Korea, so it helps a lot. By the way, is there any weather apps that Korean use to check weather?
Hello, thank you for your comment~!! In Korea, the local weather forecast can be wrong at times 🤣 so some Koreans refer to the weather forecast by Norway! haha www.yr.no -> it is said that they are very accurate ^^!
Thank you for these very awesome tips. I will be sure to try them when in Seoul in February
