    Bloody great setup guys! But of course the new rig will be much better i know! This is the last video that i hadn't seen yet! I am officially caught up with all your content! I wish i wasn't actually, because now i've got nothing else to watch. Oh well.....time to start from the beginning again!
    By the way!....That table is a great idea! I'm stealing that one Kurt. I've got the same style tray and canopy and i just need a piece of flat sheet alluminium to fold over the lip and a leg. Brilliant!

    Great video guys. Love watching stuff like this to see how others do it all! Interesting to hear you arnt happy with the toyo open country ats, I'm also really dissapointed with them. I've had soooooo many bead issues with them.

    • @Sparkysontheloose
      @Sparkysontheloose  5 лет назад +1

      Cheers mate. That's a bugger, they're not even a budget tyre either which is disappointing.

      I had Toyos as well and were not a good tyre. Only lasted 30,000kms and I looked after them. Also did not wear evenly. I went back to BF Goodrich AT's and am happy with them. Almost as good as a MT.

    Yah! Love to see more metal detecting on the trips.

    • @Sparkysontheloose
      @Sparkysontheloose  5 лет назад

      Will have to try and get back into it. It's been pretty bad detecting in WA so definitely don't recommend doing it there haha

    Great setup, thanks for sharing. I reckon you gotta get a wireless mic, so much easier and versatile. Cheers..

      Would love to Steve but we don't have the money at the moment. The Rode Go mic looks awesome.

    Impressed by the Navara after all you have put it through. How fast do you travel and what sort of economy are you getting.?

    • @Sparkysontheloose
      @Sparkysontheloose  5 лет назад +1

      Love it Roy. We travel at 80-95kms depending if we are loaded or not. 17L per 100km average so pretty good for the weight.

  • @RoryandCasey

    Hey guys, just found your channel, great stuff, if you don't mind me asking, how economical is the d22 on long trips towing the van? Considering one myself for a similar trip.

    • @Sparkysontheloose
      @Sparkysontheloose  4 года назад

      Cheers mate. 17-18L per 100km. That's around 5tonne of weight combined. Great budget tourer but it has its problems like any other car.

    hey guys and idea of the wieght of the Nav? mine is closing in on 3 ton and I dont have a quatrer of your tool shed!

    • @Sparkysontheloose
      @Sparkysontheloose  5 лет назад

      We were around that when we left but since then we have done a lot of weight reduction so around 2.9 now. So much crap we brought that wasn't needed. If we were to do it again we would get a light truck so we didn't have to worry.

    Hey, great videos. Proves the nav's aren't that bad. Just interested in how many kms your old girl has done? I've personally got a 2004 zd30 d22 with 270000kms on her, still going strong haha.

    • @Sparkysontheloose
      @Sparkysontheloose  5 лет назад

      It's up to 220000 at the moment, she's very rough but I reckon she will keep cruising.

    Do you find the Nav is slow off the mark?

    • @Sparkysontheloose
      @Sparkysontheloose  5 лет назад

      With what it's pulling, not really. I think of it as a light truck and not a v8, so I don't notice the lack of power.
