loved the snips at the end. another heads up is to turn fire extinguisher upside down and give it a shake every so often so the powder dont settle. great vid as usual...

Just watched this one again after quite some time to refresh us on your PLB & SAT PHONE information. Thank you so much. Nearly time to hit the road for us, and safety always comes first.

Hi guys thx for the clip .I've got a fare of few items mentioned. The first aid kit not as comprehensive as what you have though still better n nothing that goes with me most of the time off road.Fire extinguisher sits on the side of the center console with the cb. You opened my eyes a far bit as to what should be carried,do hope people watching will take in the serous nature of personal first aid. Thx again safe travels n keep the shiny side up

great video. especially the custom bag, first aid kits should always be put together by the intended user. a tool bag stocked with first aid items is just as useful, and a survival bag. id know, ive been stuck out of service for 5 days at the end of november in central bc.

Awesome first aid kit. Makes ours look rather small. I am wondering if the PLB batteries are replaceable or if you have to get a new one if the old battery dies? It would seem to make more sense to have rechargeable batteries and allow the unit to run from a secondary power source like a USB port if the battery gives up. Good idea to carry more than one fire extinguisher. We should get more as we only carry one in each vehicle. Good video and useful info.

As far as we are aware they're not rechargable unfortunately. There are places to send them to get recycled but yes a shame we can't just renewed the battery. Thanks for watching 🤙🤙

    Medications are not first aid.
You talked about expiry dates on PLB and Epi-pen but not first aid training/certifications.
    Where's you tourniquet?
tip your extinguisher end to end by your ear once a week. As you drive alot the dry powder can compress and you want to hear a
shsssssh sound as it shifts end to end.
Gauge may show charged but if the powder is caked it doesn't work.

Put the label of your number on the sat phone itself. Then it’s literally in your hand.
