A mathematical problem is not "tactical depth". You might as well say Tic-Tac-Toe is the ultimate game experience because it gets rid of that extra stuff we don't need...right? No.
Chess does have tons of tactical depth, though. Tic-tac-toe doesn't. And OP isn't stating that chess is some ultimate experience. I don't understand what you're trying to get at.

never had as much problem with a game as I've had with FTL. So difficult. I love it. Beautiful soundtrack too. It's on my nighttime playlist. Gonna give this one a shot eventually but there's so many games to play. Still working on Sekiro and Trails in the Sky 1, then I wanna play Celeste.
When I am playing this game, time in my life moves 10x faster. Or in other words, this game is so interesting and fun, but as this guy said, I'd say it's not a cup of tea for everyone
Into the Breach didn't surprise and intrigued me like FTL did, but it's still a great game! Just know that they are pretty different from each other, even though the tactical element is still very prevalent.
I died on the third map. I watched other play this without losing a single power grid but I got so screwed repeatedly. Game is not as easy as it seems!
Zenith guards have high damage and could protect buildings, you should try then out, or as this guy said, you could also try rusting hulks, both are fun as heck
We're only doing it in certain cases. For example, a lot of people would've passed right by a review of Into The Breach because they'd never heard of it, but putting the score on the thumbnail image tells them "Hold up a minute, this is something special that you should really watch!" When it's a big game everyone's already aware of and curious about, we'll leave the score off.
TBH I consider review scores a major spoiler, especially for games which I was 100% set on buying already (and maybe even already playing), please never ever do it on youtube again or I will have to block your channel.
this game isnt as daunting as ff tactics or something. Not too complex, and the rules and mechanics are few but strict. The learning curve isnt as intense. from there you just have to stay sharp.
I would say it's closer to DS graphics. It is a difficult joke to make though. Do you exaggerate to make a point, or do you try and place it in the right platform and keep people like me getting technical? I have to admit it feels good to respond to your comment to elicit a response, so I empathize with you. This is getting to meta for me, anyways I see what you did there.
I loved playing FTL on my iPad a couple years back. But, now I’d really love to see this on my Switch. And, I love that the soundtrack has a similar minimal groove to the former.
I, having had a much better experience with Fallout: New Vegas than most when it comes to bugs, would likely have given it a 10 had I been working on IGN's scale at the time. I'm not one of those people who likes to reserve 10s for mythical "perfect" games that will never actually come along - all games have flaws. And no matter what game you decide is worthy of a high score, someone else is going to come along and tell you you're crazy and that you should be "more honest" and "hold developers accountable." That's just the way opinions work. Remember that reviews are almost always based on a single playthrough, and are written before the internet is filled with impressions of other people who've picked over every corner of a game and exposed all the cracks that appear when you come at it from a thousand different angles. When I played through Fallout 4 I ran into some performance problems here and there, but I didn't hit any significant broken quests beyond being unable to clear one colony area because some enemy had spawned underground. Other than that it was fine. How was I supposed to know what issues other people would have with it?
I just read on some website that Into The Breach was the most popular game played in 2018. I play all kinds of games all year round. Most of my friends are gamers. I nor my friends have ever heard of this game
beat this game on hard mode. the only hero i used is the one have dodge skill which immune to web. rush damage+ immune (team, building damage) hard at first lv but later easy and easier when your mech deal 4+ damage.
You give this a 9 and dragon quest 11 a 8.8. Not taking anything away from this but I mean come on. Look at one and then the other and you're gonna tell me with a straight face this is the better game? Not which one you like more, which one is the objectively better developed game. Its pretty obvious. This is why no one takes your reviews seriously. Or even listens to you.
@@AsianTheDomination so do that I bought it on stadia and also on GFN and loving it 👌🏼 everyone has their reason to play on the platform of their choice nothing is wrong with that as long as your gaming. Right ????
This game... is low key .. dopest game on Switch. Took me about 4 hours to figure out how to play properly. And the music and sound effects on a high powered receiver? Primo
My only complaint is replayability - I'm not really sure why I should keep playing after beating all islands and the last fight. Just to get better score and more mechs? I can kind of see that play out in my head with no need to play the game. I'm a bit sad to see that there weren't any new worlds unlocked, just a few would have kept me going for a lot longer. I hate to be asking for "moar content", but that is the killer for me with this game.
i was disappointed with the game... too short.. not so hard... the replayability comes from trying new mechs with different special abilities... when you master every mech and match it with the right pilot the game becomes easy... like.. the shielded mech thats does no damage but pushes away every enemy and buffs friends can match with the pilot with the ability to "start anywhere on the map" ... Second, there is no pathways like FTL to choose .... every island has the same missions changing only monster and buildings positions, and like it takes one or two tries to figure out what to do ...and there´s not many of them. Like..Another point is the first island you select will be easier like if you group is not good for island A or B, start doing that island because that will be done easier. The hard part just come from not making any mistakes on moves and you are all right. even on hard if you don´t miss you are good to go, like, you just need more time analyse the screen like playing sudoku or chess and...ok. The main thing about FTL is YOU DON´T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT, you jump and Here goes nothing and there is no surprise, just an old recipe done the same way.. ...
