I suggest Zeer Rangsit, the large IT mall with nostalgic atmosphere. Many local shop not runs by big IT franchises. It feels close to Pantip Plaza few decades ago when its the most popular IT mall in Thailand.
Wow, this is an electronics mall. I would love to see in person. I can’t believe we have Macintosh there. Selling that, Krell and B&W was one of my first jobs out of high school, and I never thought I would see that equipment here. Mind blowing. Thank you for sharing this, this is definitely going on my list of places to visit. Great video. Thank you so much for showing us around!
@@LifewithSerg If there are some people in Bangkok that can afford BMW's, Mercedes, and high-end luxury condos, then they can afford that high end audio equipment.
We love visiting and exploring Fortune town every time we're there, It used to be my go to place to get replacement hard drives, memory etc when I was working further up north of there on the MRT, at Olympia Thai Tower... Surprised you didn't find the vintage collectable shops that are in the middle area on 4th or 5th floor, above the food court, some amazing collection there.
@@LifewithSerg Yeah they are not separate enclosed shops, they're along the edge of the big circular area to the northern side, there isn't many of them now but there's still a good collection of vintage stuff in about 10 different stands.

If you like game consoles the Open Source shop is very good. You can find cheaper consoles in the shops and malls in the Khlong Thom area but sometimes they are grey market Chinese imports and may not work quite like you'd expect.
Hi Serg, love your videos, thanks so much for sharing. We are in Bangkok now and have used your video info to visit a few places, including Sakura and Pattavikorn markets, amazing. Went to Fortune Town on Friday, very interesting.
You find the coolest places. I can't believe Thailand has so many awesome shopping malls. And you seem like somebody fun to hang out with to geek out about electronics and classic toys. Thanks for sharing! After a stressful week, it is nice just to relax and spend some time watching your videos.
There are so many more shopping malls here in Thailand. I generally avoid the majority of them, and couldn’t care about making videos there. However, this, and the toy mall are just superb. I’m very happy to know that you are able to relax with my silly little videos. More coming soon.
Vinyl heaven !!!!!! Iv been in all those record shops picking up movie soundtracks they have so much to offer and the prices are decent and some 2nd hand gems. As for the HiFi OMG I would love to be able to get some of the high end equipment, I can’t resist a gadget or 2 🫣🫣😊😊 nice one Serg take care
Omg saw Wilson's and clicked faaast! 😁 I appreciate that you go through some prices for the LPs and the hifi. Check out the prices on that Avant-garde Horn Speaker at 7:48. Must visit. Happy that Singapore & HK are not the only ones with these shops. In fact the display looks better than Singapore. Thanks for sharing Serg!
Great video. I’m a retired tech executive with a serious gadget/av/tech itch that can not properly be scratched in Pattaya. Will be spending some time and money at Fortune Town. Also I just finished my super high tech beach villa in Pattaya. It’s full of high end av and automation. Might make a good video?
They used to be a skate park on the roof, they’ve completely demolished all of that. I haven’t been up there for about eight months so next time I’m there I’ll have to go up and take a look. As far as the hobby zone, I went to every floor, and there was nothing there, except one store.
Fortune Town is one of my fav places in all of Bkk. I spent too many hours there during my last visit. And you are right...the audio store with the NAT equipment is fantastic!

Tube amps produce LESS wattage than solid-state (transistor) amps, and tubes have MORE distortion (mostly second-order harmonic distortion that is perceived as being warmer). Tubes typically sound better than solid-state amps on poorly recorded music (and pre-digital music) where you don't want to hear all the recording tape hiss and other limitations of older recordings. Tubes can also sound better if a new digital recording is a bit too detailed for one's taste.
