    Hi my analog film twin!! Thanks for the awesome trip, friendship, footage and bad jokes! I’m so blessed to have a buddy like You! Can’t wait for the trip...
    Btw, I think, that there was a one quite ok joke too... or maybe I was dreaming...
    Loved the song too!

      Haa! But listen, there really is no difference. They are the same. Especially if you think about non-documentary fine art photography and then instrumental music, they both speak the same language aiming at evoking emotion and feeling. I'm very glad you liked this!

    Not sure why, but I have never thought of putting two rolls of film on one reel. Brilliant! Question for you, Ari: in the dark, how do you know when the first roll of film is on the reel far enough so you can begin putting the second roll on? I have the same kind of tank and reel system as you. Do you just keep advancing the film until it stops? Thanks!

    • @ShootOnFilm
      @ShootOnFilm  Год назад +3

      Let me do a RUclips short about this. Gimme a few days .. but basically, no need to advance the first film. The second will push it forward .....

    I work with 2 Paterson tanks at once. I start the development in the second tank when the first has been in for about 5 minutes. The agitation gets bit hectic! I rarely presoak. I think it's not really needed if the development times are long enough. Entertaining video as always.

    That’s a great film developing process. That must come from playing the piano where your brain can keep track of your hands and feet doing different things at the same time. Do you ever replenish your developer? You are very lucky to have such a good friend to photograph with. That is something special.

    thanks again for another awesome video .... Great ideas to put 2x120 films in one reel, but now you have double the surface area and may need more effectiveness, of course it perfectly works with xtol stock but how about a more diluted liquid? I tend to use ID11/D76 at 1+3 dilution most of of the times... do you think there is enough developing power in 500cc of it for two rolls?
