  • I wanted to make a review video on what really happens when wearing multiple chains together. This is good for beginners that haven't done so. There's no real avoiding these issues but knowing ahead of time helps. Thanks for watching!

I rock 2 ropes & love it!! My original one I went with is a 4mm 24” d/c white gold rope. Then I decided I wanted a pendant and went with a 4mm 20” d/c tri-color rope paired with a standard 14k w/g diamond cross. The 4” rule when stacking with a pendant is key, & the look is fire! Thanks Braden for teaching me & everyone else the tricks of the trade. Love the videos bro, keep doin what ya do!

The only times I ever worried about scratches on my gold jewelry, was the first two scratches I got on my pinky ring.
Since then, I realized it is a natural thing that comes with usage.
The first noticable scratch on gold jewelry will kill you to begin with, but once the scratches start to come, it’s like you notice them less, they just turn into patina.

If you pair something wide and flat (Figaro for example) with something thinner but round (rope, box, Franco) you will get very little twisting. When both are flat or both round, that's when I get them tangled up. If you put a pendant on the round chain, even less tangling in this situation.

Yo this an underrated comment right here. You’re right I’ve noticed when I was wearing vermeil pieces that they tangled less when the rounder chain was layered underneath a flat link chain with a pendant on it.

I wear 3 chains daily. 4mm 22" Cuban, 4.5mm 24" Figuero and a 3.5mm 26" rope with a small pendant and they tangle pretty often. I fix them if I notice and tuck them back in or leave them out but it doesn't matter. As for scratches, you don't even notice them. When they get dull, I hit them all with a gold jewelry cleaning cloth and they come out shining like new. All easy fixes so don't even worry about tangles or scratches when it happens.

  • @forgottenmemories4560

I wore 3 chains a couple of times at work. A 2.5mm diamond cut rope at 20", a 2.5mm reg rope at 22", and a 4mm heavy link chain at 24" all with pendants and damn, they wrapped around each other worse then if I wear them normally. I'm okay with scratches and dents in my chains, pendants, etc. It was just just lesson learned.

I wear two 22 inch 14k chains daily. Always either my 5mm Figaro or 5mm flat curb and 4mm rope - sometimes the Franco makes an appearance. To me 20 inch feels to short and 24 is a bit to long for me. Since the rope has a pendant I think the same length chains still look good. Always got that jacoje drip going.

I've seen people worry so much they won't wear any. I've always been told to gi with different lengths and a flat style with a round style chain to reduce tangling. And if you read this, if I get picked on the last give away the Angels will win 😆 🤣.

Wearing a 4mm 10k 26 and 30 inch rope stack rn with an ice out cross on each one :) super happy. Round links like a rope or franco tend to tangle more as they roll up and down the neck as opposed to flat links like a cuban or yacht. Also it helps to have similar width and weight chains when stacking. If you stack a 4mm rope with a 2mm, the lighter 2mm rope tends to move more and tangle. Also I feel like thicker chains makes it harder for one to over lap the other? So a 6mm rope stack should tangle less than a 4mm stack? Either way I adjust my chains every hour or 2, it's always a good feeling. Hahahaha smash smash smash
