I like this look so much more than what the next generation (GR86)
I completely agree the new generation just doesn’t do look as good as the gt86
I had automatic for 5 yrs and enjoyed every minute
now cayman with PDK

Also in the auto versions of the 2017+ 86s you dont get the aluminum intake manifold, 5 more HP, better cams and more torque.. you just get the same old engine.

Look. I h ad an auto FRS for 3 years.. Lots of fun. the manual mode/paddle shifters so justice to this platform but since I switched to a manual gt86... Worlds better. Faster, more fun.

i don't find the shifters that useful to be honest

How do you feel this car?
I really liked this car. It feels much faster in real life then you would expect looking at the numbers on paper. It's also fun to drive and has nice cornering.

Automatic? As if the manual version wasn't slow enough. Pretty positive you can add a second or more of 0-60 time for the auto. Junk.
yeah auto on this is pfffttt but i have to say that i have driven and owned a lot of fast cars and the gt86 is the best fun ever, i love mine more than chips, if its not fast enough move to where there are more corners... ;-)

Looks like fun to drive. I'm saving up for this car as a distant goal, looks and from what people say brings back the traditional rear wheel drive coupe's, the real essence of what makes a sportscar :)
