I'm not sure what is wrong with your set up, but when you make left hand turns it sounds like one of the motors is oscilating or fluttering. Maybe adjust your flight control setting.

yeah, I already have the TPA set to 0.5, which seems high. In level full throttle climbs, it's fine, but in 3/4 throttle hard turns (left turns only?) it gets the shakes. I was thinking I need to play with the TPA breakpoint setting maybe?
One of the ESC's a while back started giving a "phase A high side drive fault" 9 out of 10 times that I plug it in. I wonder if this is how it manifests itself...

secretspy711 it *may* be an esc of motor issue. Is one motor getting hotter than others? TPA is for what sounds like that, but for full throttle climbs so im not sure if TPA increase will help.
Possible a wounded or weak blade?

Try holding the quad from the bottom and then turn the motors on to about hover speed. Now tilt the quad down in each corner and you will notice each motor speeds up, does one or more sound different. This will help determine if a motor or esc is having a problem. You mentioned a blade or prop maybe a problem, try putting on new props and see if it still does it. I balance my props for smoother running and longer motor life. Good Luck.
