Epic! That one clip must have been one of your first flights with her, I've seen her dominate the skies, water, and no problem with FPV water landings, touch and go's, and water takeoff. Awesome plane and vid! Awesome showing when it goes wrong/or not quite according to plan, but she lives to fly (and float) another day!
I wish someone would make something like this commercially. I've been looking to buy an FPV seaplane for a long time. Closest i've come is mounting a Finwing Penguin on floats.
+Toronto FPV agreed. There's the Icon A5 and it's copies but it has mixed reviews... although most of the bad reviews are related to it being underpowered or needing a slight mod to the hull for water takeoffs. I had a mishap with the SkyHunter last summer -- it submarined on takeoff, and got water inside. After about 2 minutes of flight, total loss of control and nose-dive into the water. Even though the receiver was inside a balloon within the fuselage, it still got water inside. The plane itself isn't too worse for wear but does need some repair. Lost a GoPro, battery, flightcam, and a vtx. Haven't had the motivation to fix it yet. So, while seaplanes are fun as heck, they can also be quite frustrating. I will probably repair it at some point, but I think I'll stick to land-based planes from now on... or at least be VERY strict on wave height, and only take-off via LOS before switching to goggles.
+secretspy711 Sorry to hear that. Yeah I have the Icon from PZ and its ok. It has funny flight characteristics that are entertaining. However would require significant work to change to FPV while also not being able to take much battery. So....meh I haven't bothered. I look forward to the penguin mod -- I've seen videos of people doing that in France.
Seahunter!!!! Killer edit dude.

Nice edit video. Pure art.
Awesome footage and great flying!
I like it.Now I see what you mean by a drone high and slow is boring. I get it. Very cool vid. Thanks
Wow!!! I loved this video.. Landing 3/4 mile away is sooo dangerous.. I love it. Where did you find that plane?
That it's an awesome scratch build! Sorry about the camera gear though.
