That’d be a cool concept, but most of them would probably just be: “what if so and so survived?” What if Qui-Gon survived? What if Parker survived? What if Fives survived? What if Krell survived? All characters who’s deaths had a significant impact on the story of the movies.

Man this was unbelievably brilliant! I have never felt this sort of "cinematic" emotion from a What If scenario. You Sir have earned a loyal subscriber and like. This was truely jaw dropping!
I like how in the glory of star wars there is always a hint of romance and it is amazing on what george lucas has achieved I feel that this is as close if not exactly what george lucas would have done if padme would have survived
I expected you to have Padme kill Vader at his request, I feel Anakin knowing that Padme would never love him again, he wouldn't see fit to live or something along those lines. Also I want a part two just to see what happens with Luke and Leia because I really doubt that the emperor would just sit around know they exist, and he would know even if Vader didn't tell him, he would feel his aguish

The Emperor always knew the children were alive. He could sense them, he just didn't care so long as Vader didn't know about them and they weren't a threat. They were just two among the thousands of force sensitive kids with no training
I've always had an idea of this as my own. Quite similar, but Vader comes to the realization that he CAN'T be with Padme at this point. He goes to see her one last time to warn her of the Empire's intent and any possible final orders from the Emperor himself. He arrives on Naboo, discreetly, to talk to Padme, she has a similar reaction but rather than deflect the blaster bolt he takes it, to prove he's not here to cause damage. He tells her she needs to go off the grid, stay somewhere in the outer rim and lay low until the kids can protect themselves. At this point Padme will ask "And what of you?" to which Vader will respond "To fix a mistake." The mistake here being he prevented Mace Windu from killing Palpatine when he had the chance, so now Vader is off to do it himself. As Vader leaves he says two things the first being "Don't wait for me, I have no intention of coming back, and if you see Obi-Wan, tell him, I'm sorry." and the Second being "I'll need your blaster." To which Padme will respond "What for?" and Vader will respond with "The Emperor will need to believe you are truly dead, I'll need some kind of significant item to fool him." Vader responds. Padme gives Vader her Blaster as he both thanks her and apologizes for his horrific actions under the influence of the Dark Side. Vader's Tie Fighter lands on Coruscant, Vader mentally prepping himself as he makes his way to Palpatines office keeping the Blaster on the back of his belt and out of sight. "I'm going to finish this, regardless of the consequences." Vader, now Anakin once more, thought to himself as he entered Palpatines office. Palpatine responds to Vaders presence by asking "Lord Vader, what reason have you to interrupt me?" with an annoyed tone. "My Master I bring news that may gain your favor." Vader replies dryly. "And what news would that be?" Palpatine asks curiously. "Good, it seems you're training is advancing far quicker than I had anticipated." Palpatine replied turning back to Vader. "Not quite." Vader responded mysteriously. "What do you mean?" Palpatine asked, half expecting he already knew what the answer was as Vader with one hand crushed his communications devices and the other hand to crush the door controls. "To become a true sith, the Apprentice must destroy the Master!" Vader lied. "So you have betrayed me." Palpatine responded as he shot multitudes of Force lightning at Vader who using his lightsaber with the force was able to make a shield of lighting and disperse it easily. Palpatine knew he wouldn't get far with this technique alone, so he drew his lightsaber, the duel was intense but Vader got the upper hand and managed to destroy Palpatines lightsaber, now on the ground Palpatine pleaded as Vader raised his arms for the final strike. "There will be no one to save you this time." Vader replied as he was suddenly shot back into the wall of the room by a surge of Force Lightning as Palpatine cackled. "You have betrayed me, lied to me, and failed as my apprentice, you are weak, broken, and now you will be disposed of as the rest of the Jedi before you!" Palpatine shouted angrily. Vader thinking fast used the Force to rotate Padmes blaster to face Palpatines back, Vader reached out with the Force and pulled the trigger. Palpatine, shot in the back stammered for a moment and then fell forward, straight onto Vader's ignited lightsaber. This weakened Palpatine enough to be unable to fight back as Vader Force Choked Palpatine until he saw the light leave from the Sith Masters eyes, then Force Pushed him out the same window his Master had done to Mace Windu years prior. Anakin after using some tech in the office to repair his systems, jumped down with the Force to find Palpatines body, which at this time was surrounded by Stormtroopers. "Lord Vader what happened?! The Emperor is dead!" One of the troopers panicked. "Was this a Jedi's doing!?" Another trooper asked. "No, this was MY doing, now step aside or else." Anakin responded. "YOU killed the Emperor?!" The entire squad shouted. "I'm sorry sir but you're under arrest for Treason!" Anakin saying "Do you think this wise? To combat me?" to which a trooper replied "We took down the Jedi, one more won't hurt." smugly. Anakin noticed this was NOT the voice of a clone to which he responded "No, the CLONES took down the Jedi and only after years of built up trust were they brainwashed into attacking defenseless Jedi, I am very much prepared for an attack, so I'll ask once more, do you think this is wise?" The Troopers just stood their silently contemplating why Lord Vader was even talking to them instead of killing them. Anakin knew this was getting nowhere fast and decided to fall back on his old ways before the Empire. "What do I have to do to make you forget this ever happened?" Anakin asked. The Troopers all looked at each other in confusion. "Paid vacation?" One of them asked. "Done" Anakin said as he was able to tap into the Empires payment systems with his suit to give the entire squad a full years worth of paid vacations. "If I were you, I'd reconsider coming back to the Empire after your vacations are over. I feel it may be very different." Anakin said as he grabbed Palpatines body loaded it into his ship and flew back to Naboo. Anakin took Palpatines body to the Naboo reactor core, and threw it in as it was incinerated on the spot. "Good, now he can't come back." Anakin panted as he fell to his knees. Suddenly Anakin heard loud footsteps running towards him, but his systems had begun to shut down. Anakin managed to turn around to see Obi-Wan running at him, Saber drawn. "Who are you?!" Demanded Obi-Wan. "I was your brother, once." Anakin responded. Obi-Wans eyes went wide and he dropped his lightsaber. "Anakin, what on Earth are you doing here?!" Obi-Wan demanded. "Destroying the Sith." Anakin responded as afterwards he gave Obi-Wan a brief summary of recent events. Obi-Wan looked into Anakins visor and said "I'm proud to have called you my brother." as he gave Anakin a hug. "One more thing, please keep an eye on Padme and the kids, oh and can you return this to Padme for me?" Anakin asked handing Obi-Wan Padmes blaster. Obi-Wan nodded as Anakin passed away in his arms. Obi-Wan then returned to Padme with Anakins body to give him a proper Jedi funeral. "I'm glad you contacted me when you did. I feared Anakin was about to do something incredibly foolish, as it would turn out, he freed the entire Galaxy, not only of the Empire, but of the Sith as well." Obi-Wan said to Padme.
@@DreadnumYT Thank you :) Like I've said before, I always believed that in a situation where Vader finds out Padme either survived, or that he had TWO kids before she died, Anakin would come back and overtake Vader, as I also believe Vader was a split-personality made by Anakin to cope with the fall of the Jedi.
I love the idea of Padmé surviving and going into a kind of witness protection on Alderaan, where she raised Leia alongside Bail Organa. The twins would still be separated despite Padmé not wanting that and thus she would be sad just as Leia had recalled. Then Vader manages to track her down and after misunderstanding the situation, thinks that Padmé had married Bail Organa and he tries to kill him, only for Padmé to get killed instead while Vader is in a blind rage. Vader is horrified by what he did and takes Padmé's body with him away from Alderaan while Sidious's words echoing in his mind with a new tragic meaning behind them. "It seems in your anger, you killed her…"
Vader: I was tricked by Palphatine, I don't know how to end everything he and I started, Padame. Regardless what happens now I must leave you once again. I cannot return to Palphatine nor the Jedi. All I can do is be a spy for the rebels. To be honest I'm not sure how many people I must kill again to trick Palphatine I'm still with him. Nah forget Palphatine, he will notice something is off about me. Into exile I go not as Darth Vader. ( Vader leaves his wife and kids behind)

Man this is a lose to lose scenario for Vader / Anakin. If Anakin / Vader leave padme & his children alone, He would've gone insane in a long run. His internal conflict would go crazy, and he sure as hell would not be able to do empire / palpatine's missions properly. Eventually palps would sense this and most likely Vader / Anakin would be tormented or killed. And Padme, Luke, & Leia would be palp's target Anakin is toast unless he receives help from obi wan and / or yoda. With that being said, this is the most realistic what if padme survived video. Great Job!
Well, I can't believe he would just let her go (not to mention the two force-sensitive kids she had with her). We know how obsessed he was with her (and later Luke) and ruling together. He wanted to make his own dynasty and overthrow Palpatine. Besides, the reasons why Anakin turned to the dark side in the first place were not selfless, but rather selfish. He didn't care about what Padme wanted, that she'd rather die than watch the whole massacre. No. He wanted to save her because HE couldn't live without her. So he was mainly thinking about himself at that point. So I just won't believe he would just go away like that. Most likely, Vader would kidnap Padme and the children, raise Luke and Leia in hate for the Republic, and Padme, unable to bear what is happening any longer, would most likely end up ending her own life.
No, Anakin does listen to Padme in the clone wars. He would not be able to bare feeling her misery, he would do what she wants in the end to some level. He would place her in charge, even.
I agree with you to a certain extent, but when watching this video I also thought of how the Vader in it would be a freshly made Vader, in more pain than in later movies (since it would be days after his surgeries), and I would assume more human than later appearances as well. The key turning point would be at this time, when he's in pain, he's failed, and he's still 'down'; a later Vader who has grown more used to his situation and become more deadly and confident in himself and the Empire would be near impossible to turn back--unless of course it's by his son.
Yea no Vader was obsessed with padme he would not stop and leave her and his children to continue being Darth Vader if Padme was alive he wouldn't continue being who he is and would attempt to immediately kill Palpatine because he would want her dead since she's the strongest link to Anakin, Padme and his kids are his only link to the lightside
And across the galaxy in his office, Palpatine senses Vader's death, and begins pounding the desk, enraged, screaming, "Aw *dammit* *dammit* *dammit!* Where the Hell am I gonna find another Sith Lord of his caliber at *this* hour!?"

I think that the real answer is that it might be enough to make him understand that she can't love him as VADER and the only way to get her back was to defy the Emperor. She was his last tie to the the Light, the only one who could challenge Palpatine for his hold on Anakin. Her personality is so similar to Luke's. She knew there was still good in him. She might at least try.
I watched many padme survived alternate timeslines. this one is the most saddest. And most unrealistic. Padme and Anakin *(I will not use his fake sith name)* were so madly inlove that Padme would of forgiven Anakin.
Beautifully done. If the Emporer wouldnt have known Padme was alive, this would be the scenario. Personally, i think the Emporer would have noticed & twist the words that Padme is a threat to the Empire, but it would not be too late if she joined the dark side. & from there, either it'll be done as you say in this story line, or Vader would have killed her out of frustration of her not 'understanding' the dark side & bring the twins to the Empire...... So next what if: what if the twins were brought to the dark side since birth?
She would have to keep moving. Palps would follow Vader's trail and want the children for his own. But it would take him awhile since he would have to train another apprentice sting enough to fight and kill trained Jedi.

There's like one thing I can think of how this would end Palpatine and/or vader. With his family still alive, Darth Sidious will have another chain attached to vader. However this would be his ultimate undoing. Cause not only this is new leash to keep vader shackled, it'll cause Sidious's own death for when he pulls too hard. This leash is now a trigger to unleash a death machine on full power if Vader's family is threatened to death. It's literally a God of War story first game! Except vader won't ever kill his family. And his family gives him power.
Very very good one thing I disagree with is that after everything that’s happened Padme Would still love Anakin She wouldn’t say “I loved you” Anakin She would express love for him & To leave all this evilness behind etc etc Plus I think with her love she would help Anakin return back to the light Anakin & Padme’s Love is much more powerful then anyone realizes The lava scene where she goes to meet him is an example of it. Even after everything he’s done Padme still wanted him even after his dark deeds wether he chocked her or not she would still love him
I dont know especially once the children are born and she would have still been upset on the news of the galaxy and I think those two different variables would complicate her perspective.

I think the idea is actually supposed to be that she somehow remembered the thoughts and feelings of her mother through the Force.

Anakin managed to turn around to see Obi-Wan running at him, Saber drawn. "Who are you?!" Demanded Obi-Wan. "I was your brother, once." Anakin responded. Obi-Wans eyes went wide and he dropped his lightsaber. "Anakin, what on Earth are you doing here?!" Obi-Wan demanded. "Destroying the Sith." Anakin responded as afterwards he gave Obi-Wan a brief summary of recent events.
Obi-Wan looked into Anakins visor and said "I'm proud to have called you my brother." as he gave Anakin a hug. "One more thing, please keep an eye on Padme and the kids, oh and can you return this to Padme for me?" Anakin asked handing Obi-Wan Padmes blaster. Obi-Wan nodded as Anakin passed away in his arms. Obi-Wan then returned to Padme with Anakins body to give him a proper Jedi funeral. "I'm glad you contacted me when you did. I feared Anakin was about to do something incredibly foolish, as it would turn out, he freed the entire Galaxy, not only of the Empire, but of the Sith as well." Obi-Wan said to Padme.

Like I've said before, I always believed that in a situation where Vader finds out Padme either survived, or that he had TWO kids before she died, Anakin would come back and overtake Vader, as I also believe Vader was a split-personality made by Anakin to cope with the fall of the Jedi.
9 months late to this but oh my god that was immaculate. It really shows the sheer passion fans have for star wars.
I love the idea of Padmé surviving and going into a kind of witness protection on Alderaan, where she raised Leia alongside Bail Organa. The twins would still be separated despite Padmé not wanting that and thus she would be sad just as Leia had recalled.
Then Vader manages to track her down and after misunderstanding the situation, thinks that Padmé had married Bail Organa and he tries to kill him, only for Padmé to get killed instead while Vader is in a blind rage.
Vader is horrified by what he did and takes Padmé's body with him away from Alderaan while Sidious's words echoing in his mind with a new tragic meaning behind them.
"It seems in your anger, you killed her…"
Yeah. It seems much more in line with the lore from ROTJ since Leia remembered seeing her birth mother at a young age.

Vader: I was tricked by Palphatine, I don't know how to end everything he and I started, Padame. Regardless what happens now I must leave you once again. I cannot return to Palphatine nor the Jedi. All I can do is be a spy for the rebels. To be honest I'm not sure how many people I must kill again to trick Palphatine I'm still with him. Nah forget Palphatine, he will notice something is off about me. Into exile I go not as Darth Vader. ( Vader leaves his wife and kids behind)

Man this is a lose to lose scenario for Vader / Anakin.
If Anakin / Vader leave padme & his children alone, He would've gone insane in a long run. His internal conflict would go crazy, and he sure as hell would not be able to do empire / palpatine's missions properly. Eventually palps would sense this and most likely Vader / Anakin would be tormented or killed. And Padme, Luke, & Leia would be palp's target
Anakin is toast unless he receives help from obi wan and / or yoda.
With that being said, this is the most realistic what if padme survived video. Great Job!

Well, I can't believe he would just let her go (not to mention the two force-sensitive kids she had with her). We know how obsessed he was with her (and later Luke) and ruling together. He wanted to make his own dynasty and overthrow Palpatine. Besides, the reasons why Anakin turned to the dark side in the first place were not selfless, but rather selfish. He didn't care about what Padme wanted, that she'd rather die than watch the whole massacre. No. He wanted to save her because HE couldn't live without her. So he was mainly thinking about himself at that point. So I just won't believe he would just go away like that. Most likely, Vader would kidnap Padme and the children, raise Luke and Leia in hate for the Republic, and Padme, unable to bear what is happening any longer, would most likely end up ending her own life.
No, Anakin does listen to Padme in the clone wars. He would not be able to bare feeling her misery, he would do what she wants in the end to some level. He would place her in charge, even.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but when watching this video I also thought of how the Vader in it would be a freshly made Vader, in more pain than in later movies (since it would be days after his surgeries), and I would assume more human than later appearances as well. The key turning point would be at this time, when he's in pain, he's failed, and he's still 'down'; a later Vader who has grown more used to his situation and become more deadly and confident in himself and the Empire would be near impossible to turn back--unless of course it's by his son.
Yea no Vader was obsessed with padme he would not stop and leave her and his children to continue being Darth Vader if Padme was alive he wouldn't continue being who he is and would attempt to immediately kill Palpatine because he would want her dead since she's the strongest link to Anakin, Padme and his kids are his only link to the lightside
And across the galaxy in his office, Palpatine senses Vader's death, and begins pounding the desk, enraged, screaming, "Aw *dammit* *dammit* *dammit!* Where the Hell am I gonna find another Sith Lord of his caliber at *this* hour!?"

i would have rather had this instead of her dying right away it is so emotional then have her die later because in return of the jedi leia says she remembers her

I think that the real answer is that it might be enough to make him understand that she can't love him as VADER and the only way to get her back was to defy the Emperor. She was his last tie to the the Light, the only one who could challenge Palpatine for his hold on Anakin. Her personality is so similar to Luke's. She knew there was still good in him. She might at least try.

Beautifully done. If the Emporer wouldnt have known Padme was alive, this would be the scenario. Personally, i think the Emporer would have noticed & twist the words that Padme is a threat to the Empire, but it would not be too late if she joined the dark side. & from there, either it'll be done as you say in this story line, or Vader would have killed her out of frustration of her not 'understanding' the dark side & bring the twins to the Empire...... So next what if: what if the twins were brought to the dark side since birth?
She would have to keep moving. Palps would follow Vader's trail and want the children for his own. But it would take him awhile since he would have to train another apprentice sting enough to fight and kill trained Jedi.

There's like one thing I can think of how this would end Palpatine and/or vader. With his family still alive, Darth Sidious will have another chain attached to vader. However this would be his ultimate undoing. Cause not only this is new leash to keep vader shackled, it'll cause Sidious's own death for when he pulls too hard. This leash is now a trigger to unleash a death machine on full power if Vader's family is threatened to death. It's literally a God of War story first game! Except vader won't ever kill his family. And his family gives him power.
