I did the mistake once and my mobber from my earlier job went to my new job (she seemed to have connections there) to not just gossip about me and make people behave weird towards me, she also later wrote me annonymized hate mails telling me things that I did and said at my new job. No matter how much you want to brag about the better job you got, save yourself the trouble.
