Thanks for the video. Although the job wasn't hard it showed me where the part was, how many bolts and socket sizes. The most important part is definitely securing the transmission before removing the brace. I used a jack and 2x4.

I need to change my engine mounts. Do I need to loosen the transmission mount in order to raise the engine??

When you hit the gas does it feel like something shift, like something about to ripped?

I didn't, mind you my trans mount wasn't really worn that badly. I'd check ur engine mounts too

@@SamAbraham it felt like it’s coming from the back not the front that’s why I asked

@@yokev_5611 Gotchu, it’s relatively cheap and easy enough to do so if you don’t know when it was last done, I’d swap out the trans mount. If that doesn’t solve it, also check the trans guibo (rubber piece in between trans and driveshaft) as well as the driveshaft support in the middle

@@SamAbraham I’ve replaced the driveshaft which I thought that was the issue. That’s why I might have to replace the Trans Mount and the car has 170,000 miles I’m thinking it might be that.

170k miles wow, that's great! Yeah if you've got a new driveshaft with new bushings everywhere then it really shouldn't be that. Wonder if it could be a torque converter. Not sure if you have a facelift C63, in which case there would be no torque converter

I believe the mounting points are the same but I’d get under ur car just to take a look and make sure
