I would've expected Xclusive Ace to have covered this already, but thank you I literally thought that muzzle break was useless. Or rather I didn't really understand because the advanced stats don't tell you shit. But this means that silencers are useless this year, which means imma have to run scrambler and CUAV a shit ton now.
"Recoil resets faster" sums it up, pretty neat. Can see that being useful for 1v2's or like you said, sustained suppressive fire. There are so many guns in this game, I think as a feature request I'd like if you could toggle a HUD icon that shows your currently equipped guns recoil plot. Sometimes I forget if it pulls to right or left in phase 2, feel like that would be helpful. Maybe do something like Overwatch where you hold F1 and it shows you weapon stats along with its recoil plot.
Me and my friends are getting really tired of the shitty budget servers being used during peak times that completely kill the time to kill consistency. Combined with some of these maps and the chaos they bring it can get really tempting to just quit and go back to MWIII. A game I really enjoyed and still do when I did go back once to quickly finish the battle pass. Felt so much better in terms of flow and pacing.
for any people on KBM, there is something in the config file related to GPU rebar or sum, called GPUuploadheaps, which really made mouse input feel muddy and weird, set it to false in said config, and turn off raw input, and the mouse experience should be much better
So in other words, tap firing is a bad idea in this game? I would routinely tap fire with the high damage weapons (AK74, Model L) and I've noticed the recoil become very inconsistent when trying to touch enemies from across the map.
COD has always been an arcade shooter they need to quit doing all this gimmicky stuff and just go back to full Hit scan and predictable recoil. It’s not like it’s makes the game more “realistic” when half the lobby is shooting purple bullets while wearing a clown costume.
The older CoD’s didn’t have predictive recoil. That wasn’t something that was added until like BO4. Recoil was just easier to control back then because the total magnitude of recoil was just lower, especially with those few particular guns (MW2/3 ACR, BO1 Galil and Famas, BO2 M27, Scar, and MSMC, etc)
The only reason we have stupid clown cosmetics is because both the devs and community stopped caring about what CoD stood for. That and Activision is greedy.

The heavy microtransactions and skins and battle pass constantly thrown at your face is all from Activision. Other devs have previously expressed disapproval of what they’re forced to do, but their words are very quickly silenced
after Sledge tuned aim part way into MW3s season aiming and accuracy felt amazing - this is such a regression

It's all because of warzone. They wanted to keep some consistency between multiplayer and warzone.
