I bought this same bike from Gem County MS- agree with your review on it, been super impressed with it. Jonny took me out for a demo ride and that’s what really sold me on it, it is so balanced and the front end is very stable and you can put it anywhere. Really only need a spark arrestor and a rear disk guard and it’s good to go. The fan will run a lot but shuts off as soon as you turn the bike off. And the map switch is cool mild to wild and you can tell the difference probably because of the electric power valve.
Hi from France from a SHERCO's rider since 2011. I am living at about 20km from SHERCO factory. 😊 What jettings do you use please ? SHERCO like SUZUKI needles NEC and NED series ... 😉 Bye.
I wouldn't hesitate to get a Sherco. The Sherco doesn't have the snappy power. It has more of a trials bike feel to it. Very smooth everywhere in the power.
@@RacerRed Interesting to include the Beta xtrainer, if you've tested one, how does it compare with this sherco as far as that 'heavy' feel , not being able to snap the front up in higher gears?
@5:29&on . I had a repeating dream like this when I was a tiny pup. Didn’t like it and pissed the bed a lot on those kinda nights. Embarrassing I know , but dang nice little bike these frenchies are producing nowadays! Cheers!
hello, Beta RR 300 or Sherco se factory 300, which is more powerful, more aggressive, more brutal, more reliable, faster in the forest on difficult trails and difficult climbs thanks to the people who will answer me!🤝🏻
Push start the bloody thing, reverse up another bike rear wheel to rear wheel and roll start it with another bike turning the rear wheel there’s lots of options.
Most of us know the tricks, as for myself, I've been riding a few years, 100s upon 100s of hours, small community , I ride solo. There is almost zero chance of bump starting down a silty hill/ embankment, nor pushing to start on similar surfaces, and yeah, that second bike, not there. There are a ton of channels out there that tell us about all these cool tricks, none of them tell the whole story, in a perfect world all the tricks work. shrugs...
It feels heavier at speed, no doubt. The lack of horsepower doesn’t pull the front end up as easily as sone 250’s. However, at low speed the bike feels light and easy to control.
You need to ride a bike with WP pro components. You'll change your mind about the KYB that comes on Shercos being the "best suspension that you can possibly get".
I own a sherco and must say Euro KYB does not seem nearly as good as Japanese KYB. Euro KYB seems kind of harsh midstroke but bottoms easily. After setup by suspension expert it is much better and similar to Jap KYB with increased progression deeper into the stroke, no mid stroke harshness and supple initial stroke.

It’s a very stable and plush bike for sure! I would probably prefer the 300 version personally. Thanks for the info!

Ive heard comments of a tight cockpit for anyone 6ft and taller…How tall r u? Insights?
Did you test the Sherco 200
hi i’m interested in getting one of these how would you say the power was compared to a 250xcw as i find the xcw very snappy

I wished the air filter was not over the battery.
Is the test bike your riding a ‘22 or ‘23 Sherco SE250?
It’s a’22
What are the other two bikes you would consider?
Tough choice. For enduro riding it would be between the Sherco, Beta Xtrainer, Beta 250rr, or another Husqvarna

@@bikersoncall he's got a review of a 22 Xtrainer on his channel. Just a little down from this video
Where’s this trail?
Where are you riding at?

It’s crazy how far they have come but I do miss the good ok kickstarter!
Def agree it should at least be an option brother. Doesn’t really make sense to me that it’s not. Cheers

More aggressive power = Beta
More aggressive handling with smoother power = Sherco
Both are great bikes. I’d choose Beta when you consider cost.
I ride a Beta 300 Race. My son rides a Sherco 250 SE. I love both bikes.
Push start the bloody thing, reverse up another bike rear wheel to rear wheel and roll start it with another bike turning the rear wheel there’s lots of options.
I’ve seen all the methods. They are not practical sometimes if you’re in a ravine in hard terrain, especially by yourself.

im thinking of buying a sherco coming off a ktm i know the sherco is a bit heavier than ktm or husky do you find it feels a bit heavier?

Yeah, never tried it. I just know KYB is as plush as I’ve ridden

WP pro is good, but the kyb on the sherco is just amazing and IMO better than the WP.
