@@prasan7th That's not how sparring works. Treat it like the real thing, the only way to dilute it is to put conditions on the spar, like only jabs or something like that.

Nathan Santana I didn’t say he didn’t use it. He just uses it allot more now. For most of his early and pro career he was just a combination puncher with good mix ups. He has incredible fundamentals tho and that’s what makes him so great. I have to rewatch the Benavides fight I don’t remember him struggling. But over again so many more fighters have much slicker natural head movement then cinnamon

For pro fighters.. sparring is a great way to practice defense techniques instead of offensive. They know they can over power an amateur so it’s to their advantage to work their slips, parry and counter
