UPDATE: In the video I mentioned that the Rig 1 was dropping connections on some of the Aux connected devices to the mount, Initially I thought this had something to do with the latest version of CPWI, however, the drops came back on the old version. This rig was the only one not using an active USB cable for the distance and looks like I had maybe got lucky with the old laptop and the new mini-pc doesn't like the cable length, rigs 2 and 3 outside the obo are using active cables and not seeing any problems with them. As a test I temporarily put an external USB powered hub on the PC end of the connection and not seen any drop outs yet. I will need to get another active cable once the shops open and hopefully that will resolve the issue. I'll keep you posted!
Cheers Ian, yeh, all came together quite nicely, I have been out and got another small monitor this morning, so we will see that in the next update, also the issues I mentioned with device drop out appears to be USB cable length, so ordered another Active USB cable, comes tomorrow, I use them on the external rigs already.
Wow look at setup your gonna need to set on an Obsy manager next!!😜 I've never had any issues with my Active USB cable either (other than if I try use with a Pegasus hub). been using my 10metre cable for over a year. Looks like a good setup Dave, hope you're going well. I'm gonna keep these mini PCs in mind as mine is ok but is rather slow.
OMG ! Your place is starting to look like the Headquarters for MI5 ! LOL . If CPWI just offered an update , I wonder if your Mount and Focuser have updates too ? Good Luck .
It dropped out last night on the old version, so its not CPWI, I put a USB Packet analyser on the connection and left it last night and could see the end device stopped responding to polls from the PC, so pointing more towards the cable/hub as the camera also stopped reporting its temperature. More testing today.....This is the only rig that doesn't use a Active usb cable so maybe the length has something to do with it. I'll get one of those tomorrow when the IT shop that has them in stock opens.

It's such fun pulling a bunch of new gear from its packaging and setting it all up. Love the mini PC's.
