Two big crocs was just incredibly generous of them! And I love how Lego are using SNOT techniques to put patterns on the sides of things these days without using stickers to make such patterns.
yes, would be fitting. we ´ve got Ms Pippin Reed in the orient express, johnny Thunder in a nother city set and Dr. Killroy in the newest Museum Modular building. i dont know which of these is confirmed by lego tho.
This is such a great kids toy. I am amazed at this wave of subthemed City sets. Jungle-Explorer really does outshine the main line. Even the biggest set kinda grew on me. But the 3 smaller sets are each amazing.
The return of Harry Cane perhaps? It being a somewhat similar plane to the one in Pontoon Plane 5925 supports the figure being an intentional reference
This is a nice set that I’ve been looking for all week. I do believe this may be a Lego store/shop exclusive until August 1st. I think $23 is a weird Lego price and wasn’t completely sure it was worth it until I saw your review and now I want it even more! Good job Jang!
The plane is more appealing to me than most of the city adventurer builds have been- I'm not a big fan of the bright orange, but the actual shape looks great! The minifigs are pretty cool too, especially the pilot, and I usually dislike modern minifigs. And your review was great as it always is Jang! Thanks for the upload!
Fantastic quality City plane! I've tried to collect Lego planes, but have lots of gaps in my collection, but this one is a definite buy. I really like the use of the part behind the prop to signify the pistons, though in modern props, the cowling usually covers it [but for bi-planes and World War I style planes, exposed pistons are more common]. I think the short wings work for this due to the shorter/more squat proportions of the fuselage. Actually I kinda liken this to your new rolling stock for your trains - shorter, but still realistic so they don't look as cartoony as something that would be shorter than usual could be seen as. And now that has me thinking about what a lego airport could look like if one made the planes in a proportion closer to those used in this set! Hmm...translating that into commercial airliners would be challenging though. I had no idea this set existed - thank you for the review! I will be purchasing via your Amazon link. :)
That airplane reminds me of the ones from the early GTA games, like Vice City, with their weirdly stubby wings. I could never get the darn things in the air, so I flew mostly helicopters.
I need that head for a new sigfig, and the rest of the set is wicked (pals for my Lizard minifig!), but the best thing is, the supermarket where I'll probably get it also sells that exact shirt. Honestly, I think it's time.
Good smaller-mid-sized set here. The plane should probably have a larger wingspan, but it does have its LEGO charm as is. The animals look more like crocodiles to me, with how their faces have that "meaner" more angular appearance. And alligators have a more rounded look to their face, with more docile looking eyes. The baby actually looks more like an alligator to me. But, I do like your croc-or-gator term. 🙂
I feel like Lego is taking a hit on some the set prices. This and AMG speed Champions sets appear to cost more than what they are sold for. But I guess the plane has no expensive molds and the gators make up the cost.
Once again I love the design of the vehicle (the plane in this case), love the animals and figures, but I hate the color choices. Orange, white & blue striped does not belong on jungle and should be on speed champions or city emergency vehicles. That military green on the plane looks way better for jungle, and it makes the orange white and blue look so much worse. They are fighting with the green to look brand new designer clean vs old and vintage. And it's an art/design color theory fail. So it is probably not worth the cost for me if I would have to PAB to recolor the exterior on every Jungle vehicle.

This wave feels like a new Golden Age of Lego City
It is not confirmed by Lego but people speculate that the pilot could be a remasterd version of the Adventures Egypt/Jungle pilot Harry Cane!
there are also some references to Ms Pippin Reed and ofc Johnny Thunder and maybe Dr Kilroy!?
Isn't this pilot just the ship captain from last year's arctic set?
yes, would be fitting. we ´ve got Ms Pippin Reed in the orient express, johnny Thunder in a nother city set and Dr. Killroy in the newest Museum Modular building. i dont know which of these is confirmed by lego tho.
More like Harry Cane cosplay. The explorers in this wave are reoccurring characters from last year's city line.
@@polarlicht4758Dr. Kilroy was included in the natural history museum set

I think the alternative face print on her is pretty spot on, as it shows her expression taking a picture.
I love the use of these windshield elements on a plane.
I like that the plane windows are fully closed up
I like that you get a good amount of crocodiles in this set with the two adults and one baby!
This is one of the rare fair priced Lego sets that has been released in the last few years. Im actually surprised this wasn't $34.99
I had a rough day, but having a couple of your reviews made it better. So thank you!

I really wish that lego is teasing us with an adventurers reboot. That series was simply amazing
I would love to see a proper return of the series. At least now we have modern incarnations of Harry Cane, Pippin Reed, Johnny Thunder and Dr Kilroy.

I absolutely love this new wave of jungle sets, I hope they keep them going !

This set is something I would have loved to have had back when I was younger, I definitely want to pick this up
So excited to have olive green crocs to swap The LEGO Batman Movie Killer Croc jaw out to have those eye prints
I love the fact that the nose of the plane is brick-built instead of some specialized piece you can't use anywhere else.
Was not expecting a baby crocogator in sand green. If this had the neo classic johnny thunder it would be my favourite set of this subtheme this year
This brings back so many Lego adventure memories.
The pilot looks like Chip 'n' Dale from Rescue Rangers fused together into one human.
As someone going for their seaplane rating, I was really happy to see this set and just ordered it today
i think after the Tiger/Truck set this is the best of the line. some very solid sets in this summer city wave
the current lego city wave is so fricking good
OK, but how does it look with the gatordiles attached to the wingtips?
Seems reasonable, wish we had more sets priced like this.
Hey, that’s a very nice set! Appreciate the review, Jang!
I need that head for a new sigfig, and the rest of the set is wicked (pals for my Lizard minifig!), but the best thing is, the supermarket where I'll probably get it also sells that exact shirt. Honestly, I think it's time.
Thx Jang, used your link to purchase this set! Great review & 2 Crocs & a baby one too! 💕
Down in the Bayou
Great set, great price, awsome revieuw. Thank you Jang.

CrocORgators, love it
Interesting colorscheme for the plane.
Crocs are awesome :)
Wow,this is a fantastic set! Thanks for this review! Definitely will pick it up! 100%
Are those Crocodiles the same color as T.L.B.M. Killer Croc?
Crocodiles are my fav animals so THREE of them is great!
This is going to be my first time getting crocs, nice that it’s so cheap
Are you doing the reviews of the other sets like the Chinook type helicopter from the jungle explorer set? 😊
At least some of them. They release on August 1 in North America, 2 months after the rest of the world.
@@JANGsLEGOreviews Nice looking forward to it
Love your review! Got mine cause of the crocogators and baby! lol 🥰🐊
Personally i would try to modify it to use a tricycle style wheeled landing gear
Not bad. Plane has more interior space than a lot of way bigger planes.
This isn't even just good value relative to lego's usual pricing this is just straight up a good deal to me.
Hmmm... so City is a reboot of both Space and Adventurers in one year?
i wish they fully comitted to the adventurers vibe, i dont dig these city colors for this line
I just want a Lego Sea Duck from Tale Spin.
I am getting Adventurers 2.0 vibes with this line....
Awsome set
A decent set

I prefer Allodiles, myself
Does LEGO sell plane license?
baby so cute!
Plane should be a wittle bigger

Thinking that a wrench is all you need to fix something is ridiculous
EVERYONE KNOWS you just need a few taps of a hammer smh
why is everything these days released under the city theme, why not a new theme or a new wave for adventurers
jang those are obviously allidiles, not crocogators. I can't believe you got it wrong, the whole review is RUINED NOW >:(
