It's neat how they're reusing the explorers from the Arctic sets. Having those characters carry over into this subtheme is cool.
I love the chests as "fuel" tanks used for storage! Awfully claustrophobic space for the camera boom operator!
I’ve got to say, as someone who has almost exclusively collected Lego Star Wars, your videos on these modern Lego City sets have me thinking about building a separate Lego City world for myself. Where I’m going to put it, that’s another problem.

I think it should be regular orange, the reddish orange is a bit too bright
Truck looks good, I like the fact that they enclosed the rear seat/compartment. Feels different and somewhat realistic. Also love the use of recolored minecraft chest as fuel tank/storage, it just looks perfect.

I wonder if this foretells that other old unlicensed themes will be merged into City, like Rock Raiders could be brought back as a mining subtheme
With that camera boom, you can just reverse (put the male where the female is, and the female the male) the mixel joints to get 360 turning.
The tiger figurine is glorious, and they did a great job on scaled down Unimog build.
I do appreciate the adventurers homage in recent themes. While Johnny Thunder was a big part of my childhood, I was into the line for the temples and traps moreso than vehicles. This is great for City lovers though!

My ABSOLUTE favorite part is it being the same style and look as the arctic sets we’ve gotten before. I generally don’t buy jungle as I only have city stuff, but I will be buying all of these this year

Nice figs, nice tiger, nice landscape build. The only thing I can nitpick about is the lack of white accent printing on the tiger's body.
The set seems to be reasonably priced as well, as the other sets of the line as well. In Germany there's already a 33% discount at a major retailer, makes it even better.
I like the set BUT I really wish for a crate in the back because it comes with so many accessories (the Camera, map, drink compas) and you can’t throw them in the back because the wheels are exposed to the cargo bed so flat pieces like the map get caught in the wheels. A grey crate would perfectly fit. I’m pretty sure LEGO intended a crate back there because there is a exactly 3x4 studed space on the bed.

This set and the atv with red panda are my favorite sets of the year. This is what I wanted for so long, I just wish it was it's own theme and not under the city line but I'll take it.
The Olive Gree for the entire truck would make nice military truck.

The four maps in the sets- ATV, plane, truck, and helicopter- are all different. I don't know if they match up if connected a specific way (as if a larger map were cut into four pieces). I'm saving that for when I have all four sets. 😃
I wish they would start making City vehicles in the same width/scale as Speed Champions.
Cole still rockin the same hair and the same sleeveless style. And the goatee doesn't look half bad on him. He also looks pretty relaxed in his new role.

The official product pages give him no name, but I mean... it's 10000% clear...
in my head canon he is the grandson (or even great grandson) of Johnny, since the original adventure line takes place somewhere in the 20-30s.

It's a nice set, however, I really would like some of these cars in the City sets to at the very least be proportional to real vehicles. Like the Speed Champions, in that you can at least have two figures sitting next to each other. I think that width would be very cool in sets like these.
I really like the jungle doctor with the stethoscope. What a fun set.

I wish The Lego Group would release a statement on this Johnny Thunder figure. I know that Adventurers takes place in early 20th century, which would make this modern adventurer an admirer of the legendary explorer. Still, it looks weird that Lego would choose to do this. It's also bad news for the Adventurers theme, we might not see new sets any time soon.

The camera's manoeuvrability could easily be corrected by swapping the ball joint piece with the socket joint piece. Lego have done this a few times and I don't know why?? Besides maybe making it look more consistent colour-wise.

a pair of identical stickers, both on identical 2*2 Tiles, prime candidate to be a Theme Printed Part, to be repeated across multiple sets of the wave.
Great set, great theme. Especially the price here in europe these sets are great value. As for the "jungle green" stripe. It is this years sub-sub theme accent color. Last year with the deep-sea explorers you had the light blue as the accent color. Still the same symbol used though.
My only nitpick with these sets is that they could have printed a tile with the logo. It would save out at least 4 stickers for 2 sets. Last year they had 2 printed tiles being the 2x4 tile and the sloped tile used for the front of smaller vehicles. Printed on orange. Now they could have printed on dark blue, I do not understand why not. The only piece that got symbol printing is the tail of the plane. Which is so weird. But yeah it is on orange like last years sub theme sets. So I guess it has to do with the color? Last year also anything white with the symbol had stickers.
Last year I did not understand why they couldn't include 2x a 2x4 with the print for the big ship. They chose to give 2 stickers for the sides with the symbol. On 2 double sized bricks. While the 2x4 was put in both the sub and smaller ship sets. So I didn't understand why they could not work around what they did. That's it for my sticker rant...

The one thing I don't like about any of the jungle sets, is the color choides for the vehicle in each set. The blue, white & orange combo makes no sense in a jungle setting to me and the stripe design makes it seem even more out of place in the jungle. I could see that on city emergency vehicles or a sports team bus or something.
didn they forget the white spots ontop the ears, on the tiger?
Overall a nice set, but in my eyes all the new Jungle sets miss certain details and accesoires that made the last line feel much more adventurous.

I get that City uses coordinated color schemes but I’m sick of the orange and blue, I wish jungle explorer vehicles looked like they belong in the jungle with neutral earth colors.
This tiger set and the red panda set are the ones to get. Gorillas are nice but that set is too big 💰

35 dollars feels so wrong to me. I'm from the UK but personally this looks like it should be 30 or even 25. I think the cave build is the biggest let down here, barely provides any capacity for play other than just existing.

I do prefer the color of the old Tiger. The new color is the color of Tigger the tiger, Specifically a cartoon orange.
I like the color of the old one but the head of the new one, I think the head on the new one represents a tiger more than the old one, I wonder if there is an in-between color because this one is definitely very orange lol
