One of my students asked me if he could miss school to go hunting with his dad, uncles and grampa. I told him don't tell your other teachers I said this, but don't ever let school interfare with your education. Sam, you are a blessed kid to get to o both.
Maybe I just missed it but I did not hear a strategy for success so I’ll take it from here. Corey’s strategy for success, brought to you by the RMEF: Keep at it until the end and never give up. Sam’s strategy for success, brought to you by the RMEF: Take a nap and let dad go find them.😝
A dad's work is never done! Quite the awkward position to have to work with, and alone to it off! You were a one man show that day. What an awesome dad!
You’re such a nice dad for packing out your sons kill by yourself. My dad would have waited for my test to be done and made me help pack out my own kill.
I feel the pain of the kiddo. Hardest part is waiting. Hard to see kiddo struggle and wait but he really is a tropper and made a great decision. Great ethics you guys rock!
It's GREAT to see the effort you made Cory supporting your kids! As a 60 year old dad of a Marine vet. son, and highschool senior daughter, I also try to do everything possible to help my kids, especially when it comes to hunting and teaching them all I can, which includes watching Elk101!
Love the passion of dedicating success to your boy. Got my 12 year old on a 7 point bull, which we had to balance the recovery with his remote learning for one of our 2020 Pandemic successes. Public land rifle, 162 yard frontal, went about 50 yards and expired. All in 90 minutes before shooting light ended. PROUD DAD MOMENTS, CHEERS!!
Being there for your kid is more important than any camera set up, Great Dad moment. It is always good to get it on film but Sam’s experience is more important.
I would have waiting til Sam’s test was finished and then got him out there to experience the pack out! Those are the memories you will always remember!
Got to say watching you guys hunt with your kids has to be some of my favorite hunts of the year. I get a few hunts with my pops every years and by far my favorite hunt that I have every year.
I’m glad it came together for you Sam! If you had gotten one right out of the gate, you wouldn’t have been able to have so many encounters! Congratulations buddy!
Smart kid. I've got a test tomorrow dad. So I should probably go to school while you go pack my bull out. They learn so quick. That was quite a memorable recovery. Glad his antlers didn't get broke up more than they did. Quite the way to end the year. Congratulations Sam!

That hunt turned out like the election, middle of the night all things went to hell and down hill from there.
I can’t tell you how much I look forward to this every day
It’s awesome that your getting the youth out there. That’s the future of elk hunting. Thank You. Congratulations Sam!
The elk tried to walk it off, but turns out he was just bluffing.
If an elk falls of a cliff and no one is around to hear it does it still make a noise. That was amazing. Nice job Sam. Congrats!!!!

Hopefully Donnie took some “Cliff notes”during this episode
Sam had to study them before his test.
Waiting for dinner at a restuarant and watching this video. Every time an elk bugles, I get some strange looks. Some people just dont get it.
That's disrespect towards other patrons!
