So many epic parts to that episode: his nerves of steel that close to a giant, his good attitude, the fact he packed out the head and a quarter and the hardships that boy has endured. Amazing!! Shane, you’re a good model on a lot of levels. Good work. Keep hunting!!

@UCiTKrcwaqNMipPiPnoVnw2g Genesis 27:3 ESV - Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me,
Genesis 9:3 ESV - Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.
Genesis 10:9 ESV - He was a mighty hunter before the Lord. Therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the Lord.”
Genesis 21:20 ESV - And God was with the boy, and he grew up. He lived in the wilderness and became an expert with the bow.
Jeremiah 16:16 ESV - “Behold, I am sending for many fishers, declares the Lord, and they shall catch them. And afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.
Acts 10:13 ESV - And there came a voice to him: “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.”
Genesis 1:29-30 ESV - And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.
Proverbs 12:27 ESV - Whoever is slothful will not roast his game, but the diligent man will get precious wealth.
I can give you more if you like. : )

@@MD-zy9xk I couldn't agree with you more about our Christian responsibility to care for orphans, widows, and less fortunate. I know that share the harvest programs across the US account for hundreds of tons of organic meat being distributed to needy people each year. The Lord has blessed me some years with enough meat to provide for up to 5 needy families for an entire year (my family included). All that without spotting scopes or e-bikes. Also, for some folks, like these good people, hunting is part of their occupation, an occupation that actually does feed people in need. What do you do for a living?

But he's hooked on hunting now. He backpacks during the off season to scout for the next season. Great guy. Great bull for that young man. Keep taking these new hunters out in the field. What a way to cap off a season..I couldn't think of a better hunt or watched such a wonderful group of guys giving back to help out others with medical issues...they all showed their metal in this hunt and all the past hunts. Great job...I enjoyed every show.

I truly appreciate seeing the faith in prayer at the beginning of the last couple episodes. As a Christian it's important to put all your faith in Jesus and know that this is possible through him. I really admire Shane and his story. He is an inspiration to others and shows that through faith and dedication anything is possible. Corey and Donnie are incredible men and being able to see the joy they spread through hunting is incredible. They are true role models for the industry. Destination Elk V3 was awesome and I can't wait to see it continue to grow.

Such a different appreciation for life when you go through something of that magnittude. Great to see a young man like Shane get the opportunity to hunt with you guys. I am sure you got just as much out of the experience with Shane as he did from you. God is good!!!!
