I'm enjoying this new format. Seeing the different hunts. Donnie does it again on day 1. Team Skousen, most likely you were the first human that calf has seen up close and smelled.
So fun to have them that close and to see them trying to figure out what we are. Such a neat experience.
@@skousenbroslive3617 I totally agree. I had a similar experience. The calf came all the way to me and started smelling my boot and leg. While doing that, she started talking. I was hunting solo and had no camera. I sure wish I could of got that on video.

Day 1 Donnie strikes again! I do miss the after video recap of what happened and the thoughts of why things were done. Relaying the info during the hunt is fun, but sometimes it takes more discussion to fully understand certain moves over others. I love seeing the different styles of doing the same thing. Very cool concept.

Having that young one standing that close was awesome. It’s those moments are that makes bow hunting so cool. Had a young fawn walk up and try to smell my leg this last hunting season, then it laid down in front of me at the base of the stump I was on and took a nap
