It’s really great watching the two of you bond and rib each other; between that and climbing mountains straight up ; it’s clear that you both are great friends!
“Can’t kill elk from camp” is the motto that keeps me going many times! That being said... I do think the camp life is one of the great parts of elk hunting. From figuring out how to get good filtered water to cooking different foods and hot drinks. It’s all part of elk hunting!
This is the kind of hunt where a love of the outdoors sure helps sustain the plan. Whenever I get discouraged on a grueling hunt I take a deep breath and turn the next two hours into a time outside. I don’t hunt, I just enjoy the outdoors.
You guys are the real deal. Some other YOU TUBE Elk Hunting groups got famous and have now got lazy and hunt and fish there easy adventures. Coming from a die hard elk hunter, I love that you guy still bust your butt, and really work as hard as you do to bring these elk hunting videos to us elk hunters. I know how hard it can be to get up that many days in a row and keep pounding the ground. You have my total respect as a elk hunter Corey and Donnie.
Another tough day...life appears to be normal in the elk woods, even for you three. Perseverance, a good plan, and a bit of luck are the name of the game. Loving the content!
" Donnie's still in his pajamas " :) This opening just makes me smile. It's tough as hell doing this segment, tough mountain miles thats for damn sure! My hats off to you guys.
Sometimes you have to have a rest day or morning to regroup!! I appreciate you showing the true side of hunting it doesn’t always work out as planned or as some hunting shows make it look
passion for elk hunting is huge. 61 and just started a few years back. watching the videos has me fired up. Lot like hunting turkeys which i start in a couple of weeks. The similarities are the same.
Gotta love it when the kids start moving or playing with your gear as your packing it. Got to elk camp one year to see that the kids had removed my bugle tube to play with it. Good thing I keep a 2 liter pop bottle full of water in the truck. Cut the bottom off it and it worked in a pinch.
Just wondering if John is still sleeping? I'm kidding, I'm kidding! I love how you guys joke around with each other. You all seem like humble down to earth friends. That's hard to beat!
Watched every episode atleast once but forgot to comment!! What a series thank you for all the entertainment the past month. Already looking forward to next year lol! 👍
Cool footage of the snowstorm coming in! Sometimes sleeping in is not only good for the body but also could be good for the "normal" pressure in an area. Elk may expect people to be on trails mainly at certain times and wait before they use or cross over them. Coming up the trail when most or all of the hunters have passed could certainly pay off! That's my reasoning and I am sticking to it! Holy COW! Donnie should have considered using his snack bag as a gun rest!
Sometimes you need a good rest. You guys really under sold the affect that this kind of calorie burn has on you. You still made it look like fun guys. I'm loving following you guys around in my off season. Good luck gents!!!
Corey- I'm freezing. Donnie - you can have one of my extra coats. Corey- you've had an extra coat this entire time!? Donnie-duh it is the rockies.
😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
“What do sprinters eat before a race?
Nothing, they fast.”
They fast.lol.Awesome

Mental fortitude is a elk hunters best friend
It’s the whole process that makes the hunt!
Nice to see Donnie has his high protein snack bag
I went to the gym the other month,
But they moved the cardio machines upstairs, I wasn't about to go to that extent
Props to camera man John! That doesn’t look easy, and he’s doing a great job at it.

I don't think that I've every been this early on a video, but it's totally worth it!

Snow, wind, and elevation are the antagonists in a great running narrative. Thanks guys for the awesome work.
Thank you for showing that you don’t always get it done but sharing the things you learn along the way
Way to keep it real guys. Showing the struggles of backcountry hunting. The ups and downs. I’m sure your legs appreciated it.
A good hunting partner is priceless. You guys are a great team to watch!
I"m glad you show the grind, not just the success day - paints a better picture of elk hunting.
Those brutal uphill morning hikes make getting out of a warm sleeping bag tough, so great job guys for always rolling out and getting to it.
Another tough day...life appears to be normal in the elk woods, even for you three. Perseverance, a good plan, and a bit of luck are the name of the game. Loving the content!
I love the rug in that country, so beautiful and teaches you lessons about life in a way nothing else can
Two MVPs so far this series...John and Donnie's snack bag!
" Donnie's still in his pajamas " :) This opening just makes me smile. It's tough as hell doing this segment, tough mountain miles thats for damn sure!
My hats off to you guys.
Rough country, and rough weather, but absolutely beautiful.
The fall colors on the mountains and sunlight over the mountain faces makes for sweet dreams of the fall hunting adventures!
It makes me feel good to see others get exhausted to ! These guys are physically fit and they get tired to. I really enjoy elk 101
Thank you Cory and Donnie for just an incredible hunt!!!
That sounded like quite the grinder! Always amazing how the mtn finds a way to humble us!
Great adventure today! Glad you’re still having fun! Too easy to get distracted from that part!
I prefer these videos to anything on Netflix- thanks guys!
I purposely saved this episode for when I was one the stairmaster in the gym. Helps to feel like I'm tagging along gasping for air!
Elk hunting is a grind at times.
It's what separates the men from the boys

Good to have a camp morning once in awhile.
John my man....half the enjoyment of hunting is sleeping and enjoying the outdoors...oh, that;s right he is the camera guy!!!
Great series. Thanks again for sharing
Sometimes you gotta sleep in just to get back in the game. I’ve had to take a full day off just to regroup. Keep up the great work.
Watching that weather gave me chills!
So awesome to see you guys feed off of each other’s positivity!
That’s some incredible country; rugged and steep, but beautiful.
passion for elk hunting is huge. 61 and just started a few years back. watching the videos has me fired up. Lot like hunting turkeys which i start in a couple of weeks. The similarities are the same.
Pretty sure I'm exhausted just watching! Keep on keepin' on!
I'm getting a work out just watching you guys hike!
An evening hunt is better than no hunt at all. All it takes is right place right time.
I like the episodes that show the not so glamorous side of the hunt and the struggle. Good footage!
Hopefully you guys will be rewarded for putting in the work.
The grind! Having good people with you help keep the motivation, it's hard and it's rough but you keep each other going!
Looking forward to the R.Newberg collaboration... quality production and experienced crew. 👌🏻
I always look forward to camping out in the back country. One of the best parts of elk hunting for me.
Ahh, the consequences of going steep and deep. Lovin it.
Way to keep the mindset and keep climbing!
Amazing country... it’s incredible to get yourself into places like that. 👊🏻
Rest mornings every so often are important to me. Watching this makes me want to be on the mountain!!
Love the scenery. Also good to see the pros take a morning off.
Nothing like hiking around all day like that!!! The elk are always over the next ridge!
Keep the positive attitude. Sometimes a little break is all you need.
That's awesome to see the grind!! Thanks for sharing another adventure with us! 😁🤙🦌🏹
I am glad you guys show the though days I am glad I am not the only one who has hunting days like these
Just wondering if John is still sleeping? I'm kidding, I'm kidding! I love how you guys joke around with each other. You all seem like humble down to earth friends. That's hard to beat!
Keep pushing and the elk gods will provide.
Backcountry elk looks brutal. Big props to sticking it out in the rain/snow too.
Slow days make you appreciate the action packed days
Everybody needs a break when you put in that much work. Love your content.
Good hunting partners keep you going when times are tough. Things will change!! Good luck!!
Always look forward to watching this series!
Looks grueling! Great reason to train year round and stay in shape.
Tough day hunting. You guys keep it real and tough it out. Fun to watch.
Every min on the mountain is a blessing...even if it’s spent resting up.
A camp day sometimes is just what the spirit needs in the backcountry
Gorgeous scenery. Looks like an absolute grind. Learning a lot and looking forward to this year!
Doesn’t matter what kind of trip it is, an R&R day is always nice.
Gotta keep pushing on!
I'm glad I'm not the only one that needs a sleep-in day on a hunt from time to time!
God bless you guy's for all you do. Beautiful footage
Brutal hikes you guys are doing...Kudos!

Beautiful country!!!
Incredible courage to keep going so high everyday
Seeing the struggles of this hunt is an eye opener!
Everyone gets tired but you got to keep banging!! Good work
Looks like a well deserved morning off to me. Tough country
I love it Rifles and seeing a few elk with snacks!!!! You are right you can’t shoot an elk from camp, per se.
Good work guys! Way to keep pushing on!

Tough days...long too!
Dig deep and keep pushing. It'll all pay off in the end!
Sometimes the body needs rest - amazing what we put our bodies through for fun!!
A morning off is just what is needed somedays.
Your mentality is so inspiring! Way to keep going guys, even on the hard days.
Sometimes you need a good rest. You guys really under sold the affect that this kind of calorie burn has on you. You still made it look like fun guys. I'm loving following you guys around in my off season. Good luck gents!!!
