i don’t understand why they make these bikes for the city and then ignore that most city dwellers live in apartments and can’t run a power cable out of their window to charge it. this class of bikes should all have removable batteries.

This is a small bike that can easily be taken into an apartment. Why would you leave this outside anyway? It can be picked up and put in the back of a truck in about 5 seconds.

Totally cool. Agree with you about all your impressions. Based on the stunt riding in your background video, I would say it is possible the rear foot pegs also act like a wheelie peg. Trick step. Which clearly the person in the crowd at 1 point was almost tricked over. lol Not sure I would want to be in the same arena as the rider, considering how new it is. Not likely got it mastered to the point it is safe for on lookers. Would I pay 9K for the Highline? Between those 2 trims, if I wanted one, I would. Would like to know the load weight capacity of it. Thanks for the introduction to it.

Since as a general rule, a naturally aspirated combustion engine will lose 3% of its power for every 1,000 ft of elevation; higher altitude operators can really benefit.
Another consideration is storability, in contrast of carburetor corrosion the battery pack and motor can be stored nearly indefinitely without significant degradation a real plus.
The simple charger set up is ideal for charging from a micro inverter with an inexpensive solar array so it addresses a lot of concerns regarding the current state of world affairs on civilians.
It's really stripped down basic leaving plenty of modification possibilities. Quite frankly, fully dressing it would be really fun.

E-Motorcycles are expensive, but I would rather deal with belt, tires, brakes, and battery maintenance than deal with the additional ICE related stuff. I’ve worked on big military vehicles all the way down to small OHVs. Small electric two and four wheelers are so much cleaner and easier to work on.
I can’t wait to get my endorsement, so I can move up from my Volcon Brat to something like this. By the way, can you do another Volcon product review?

@@JorgeMejiasBorgen Yamaha XMax 300 is a great value, but since I live in the city; I can see the benefits of electric. I have a Volvo PHEV with about 40 miles of electric range and I almost never use gas except for road-trips. My biggest concern with electric scooters/motorcycles is how do I store them in the winter if I can't remove the battery? I live in MN and it gets damn cold in my detached garage. I completely understand your issues with maintenance. I eliminated my gas lawnmower and lawn equipment for that same reason. Winterizing a bunch of small engines is not something I enjoy with family responsibilities.

@@ScoobyFermentation I am thinking about a Honda Grom or a Royal Enfield Classic. By the way, It seems that weather is the biggest issue when it comes to any vehicle. I live in Florida, and I’ve worked at a golf cart dealership before. It is common snowbirds to leave an old golf cart full of gasoline before heading back to their state. When they come back, they don’t understand why it doesn’t start. It’s a pain to clean the whole fuel system out.

Perfect for Rural America, freaking useless in more transit heavy, cities. The CE-04 is freaking awesome as hell whereas this is a niche bike. Perhaps you can think about this bike as a commuter to work? Rural America as in cars are viewed as gospel and every other mode of transportation is homosexual somehow but with low population density. Perhaps take it to a "park and ride" where you use a bus/train to get to the big city. Maybe a household member already has a car or a CE-04 so you might want to just have something to commute to work. Great bike, won't fulfill too many people's needs.
