    Bought the cheap $40 pro-guards and they were terrible. I took a class and they ripped the first time the bike went down at slow speed and didn't protect at all. They may be okay for a tip over but not a slow moving drop like those made in u turns or while developing slow speed turns and such. I got the motorcycle drop guards and my new bike has been down many times while training and no damage. And the best part, I repair them as they show on their video you can do in about an hour or so. They are always back ordered though so you may have to wait because they are always sold out.

    Thanks for sharing these have seen the ones that are just a circle that bolts up but none like these. These look like they would work better than most. Ride safe!!!

    I have a set of those. Important to mention if you have the 5” aftermarket stretched bags the stock saddlebag guards won’t protect your bags. The front corner of the bag will still hit even with the drop guards. I suggest remove your bags before practicing slow speed maneuvers.

      You won't regret getting a set for your bike. These have to be one of the best sets out there and it protects the primary too. Glad you enjoyed it and back at you ☺️ Ride Safe

    The ones on your crash bars are mounted a little high. The reason they are curved is so the mount on the curved part of your crash bar. That’s the part that will touch the ground if you tip over

    What about motorcycles that have no rear bars like for saddlebags. We can have front crash bars and even the primary protector but no way to protect the back of the bike.

      You are correct. No bars no protection for your bags. Ride safe my friend

      What kind of bike do you have? A lot of bikes don't come factory with them but you can buy them and then buy the drop guards like I did on my streetglide now I'm protected front and back

    Can someone tell me the difference between these and sissy bars? Or, is one just a trademarked name?

    • @RoadRushNation
      @RoadRushNation  2 года назад +1

      A sissy bar is basically a backrest with no pillow. Theses are drop guards that give added protection to your engine guard and bag guards.

      @@RoadRushNation Ahhh....I got my "bars" mixed up. I'm calling them the wrong thing. The bars I was thinking of are the chrome ones that stick out on either side of the engine (towards the front wheel) in case you crash. They've been around for decades, I just forget what they're called. No matter....this product looks like a no-brainer.

      @@phillamoore157 the bars in the front to protect the engine and to keep the bike from laying on you is called an engine guard or some will call it a crash bar. I hope that helps you out. Ride Safe my friend

      @@RoadRushNation OK…thank you. I was asking what the difference was between the Motorcycle drop guards and the crash bars. Thank you for the clarification.
