Materials:
2 pieces of 20 gauge round wire, 11 inches long each
24(or 22) gauge half-round wire(no need to measure and pre cut, just keep it on the spool and use as needed)
1 cabochon, mine is a hexagon shaped(but marquise shaped would also works) silver-sheen obsidian about 20mm tall
All my wire is dead-soft bare copper from www.RioGrande.com

Very cute Oxana!. It has a casual look to it but can also go a bit dressier. Love the color of the stone and the simplicity of the the wrap.

Can I use a 3/4 inch square cabochon for this tutorial? I plan to use half hard silver wire. I like the interlock on the stone for this tutorial. Your tutorials have been a tremendous help to me.
I don't think a square would work, you'd need some adjustments, otherside the stone would slide out. This shape doesn't slide out because the widest part is in the middle and the ends are narrow, so the wide part doesn't fit through the opening.

yes it will
Would it work with an ovaL stone?
I think it could work for an oval, but I have not tried
